Nice enough, but lacking in some areas

We stayed here two nights, they have rooms upstairs which are nice, €70 a double, breakfast is adequate. We only ate there on the first night however as we weren't that impressed with our dinner. Although there is no view and the decor is not the most visually appealing, the food is excellent and well worth the visit. Great value for money

This is the 2nd time we visit this restaurant. The cuisine is really delicious and they pay a lot of attention to the food presentation. The "pancetta frita" (fried) with sweet & sour peperoni is really different and worth trying. It has a good wine list with accessible prices. During summer and spring time, there are tables in the terrace.... More

Small restaurant located slightly down the hill from La Morra. The 4 of us had dinner here and very much enjoyed it. Genuine local food, very well presented. Everything was just delicious. Excellent wine list, fairly priced. Friendly, hard working, very busy service as the place was crowded. Reservation strongly recommended!

We had a white truffles based dinner. I had the fondente (melted frontina cheese) with truffles followed by the home made past with butter, parmigiano and white truffles. What a treat! The food was superb, the dining room very nice and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Just remember, white truffles come at cost....... Book well in advance

The restaurant is located on one of the beautiful roads leading to La Morra. We went there following a recommendation from one of the local winemakers. It turned out to be a good one. The food was very good and very reasonably priced, seating is very cosy both inside and outside, altogether - a great place for lunch, probably very... More

The food was good and the service was pretty good. However, when we compare it to the other meals during our 10 days in Italy, it did not make the top 5. One of the servers said we were "strange" for asking for parmesan on our gnocchi (along with a very disapproving glare). Well, the gnocchi didn't have a lot... More

Super nice food. Good wine menu. The service though could be improved. Feels like the staff is not enjoying their work unfortunately... Apart from the man recommending superb wine to our choice of food :-)

The food here is done well, if not as well as at some other restaurants in the region (Tra Arte e Querce or Trattoria della Posta), but the service is remarkably poor and unfriendly.
