Nice view, good people and most importantly delicious food! The gözleme are very nice (put some eggplant in it) and there were a couple of different meze that were surprisingly tasty. World Cup games were upstairs which made our day. Just overall what we were looking for. Definitely one of the best.

My actual rating is above average, but I'd make it 3.5 stars. This is a friendly local restaurant that offers good, but not great food, at a very reasonable price. It is perched at the top of Sirince and offers good views from its outdoor balcony. The lamb chops were quite nice, and the salad very fresh. In all honesty... More

Ocakbasi is somewhat off the (very well-beaten) tourist route in the village of Sirence. Situated at the top of a climb on one of the back streets above the main street, the dining area is essentially a large open covered porch. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The Turkish cuisine focuses on typical... More

After spending the day in Ephesus, our tour guide took me and my husband to this hilltop restaurant. The walk is a steep one, but once you sit, the view is amazing! Our guide recommended Mezes, which are appetizers. We had a tableful of wonderfully prepared dishes....Stuffed squash blossoms, stuffed grape leaves, olives, little crepes, sun dried tomatoes, spinach with... More

Long before the village became the hip place to hang out, the Ocakbasi was the first in the village. It's near the top of the village, and tricky to find without directions. It's friendly, the food is pretty good, and very reasonably priced, and we sat outside on the terrace. What's not to like? I had a cabbage and lamb... More

Follow the narrow streets to the top of the hill in Sirince for a lovely view and an even better lunch! The outdoor restaurant served fresh dishes- including stuffed zucchini blossoms, grape leaves, eggplant, olives, breads, "sea" grass. In fact, we had so much in this first course, we were surprised when they asked whether we wanted chicken or beef... More

Our group of 5 (five) stopped at this restaurant as part of a tour with Ephesus Shuttle. You never know what kind of food or restaurant you're going to get under these circumstances. So I'm happy to report that we all completely enjoyed our meals here! This small restaurant is located up a steepish hill, and might be tough for... More

Our hotel heavily recommended this place. Every time we asked for directions to a restaurant, they would say they were not familiar with it and give me a card to this place. It was almost comical. But, based on the decent TripAdvisor reviews, we gave it a try for lunch. The location is beautiful... Up a hill overlooking the village.... More

A little bit of rain, slippery slope but well worth it. The pancakes and stuffed squash blossoms were sumptuous. The price very reasonable and the staff extremely attentive and considerate. I was having a little stomach thing and the server very ably steered me away from the spicy and the oily toward very tasty options which showcased the region. Take... More
