Was a sight for sore eyes to see the bbq and grill open dec after christmas! The driveway was converted to the open pit bbq and as the owner quipped:-) the least we could do to offer hot meals after TY Haiyan stuck? We are blessed that we both survived ? classic Chinese cuisine with a flavour of illongo sweet... More

After a long roadtrip to Calbayog and Borongan, I feel like I owe myself a fresh, healthy, and hearty food. I asked my colleagues where best to have it and he suggested Ocho. I even kid him to be sure about it and he just told me I should see it for myself. True enough. The place is crowded. I... More

When I walked in and was directed to the back to choose my meal I had my doubts....major doubts. I ordered the breaded fish with tarter sauce.......it was amazing. I picked a few more things like vegetables with garlic sauce and buttered chicken. Everything was exceptional. One of my favorite places I've eaten in PI

We came here twice since it's a known seafood restaurant in the city. Food is nice but, yes! There's a but.... Food: the fishes are fresh as you can choose them on top of the "icy table" but the fish are already dead only the crabs are moving...it would have been better if you actually see the fishes move a... You are guided inside to a large of so many different types of seafoods, and you select just what you want - and how it is to be prepared!. Or you can go by their typical preparations. Ocho's chefs do a wonderful job with all the seafoods. I have never been disappointed. Good service throghout the dining experience. The only... More

Tremendous varieties of fresh Seafood simply cooked, make Ocho the best restaurant in Tacloban. Though the prices are never listed, you will be surprised how inexpensive Seafood can be (when you leave you, receive a very clearly detail list of your purchase). To order, you stand in an uncooked seafood buffet line, point to the seafood and chose how you... More

Food here is really really good. I love seafood so this is great for fellow seafood lovers. We had calamari, scallops, shrimps and other seafood and you can ask them to cook the food however you want it. You can also ask them how they'd recommend the food to be cooked and what sauces to use. The place is big... More

Excellent food at a reasonable price. The grilled fish and the scallops with garlic are fresh and good tasting. The place can be a bit cleaner though.

For appetizer, we had seaweed salad and "halabos na hipon" or stirfried shirmp. The seaweed is so fresh you can still taste the ocean. It is served with tomatoes and onions with white vinegar dressing. The shrimp is so crunchy and juicy you can't help yourself to ask for more. For the soup, we had "halaan" or clam soup. It is...
