Description: Gastronomic Fairy Tales – Our philosophy is to share our stories and emotions – Just like in the fairy tales you will never know what to expect. In tune with the season and the raw materials available to us at the time, we will present a string of finely crafted surprises and organic impressions at your table.“Food is a way for me to communicate emotions and tell stories. To reach people and move them. It can be technical or powerful, but only works when vulnerability is present. Taking people on a gastronomic journey around the palate and playing with the senses to really move them. The elements of nature in a series of organic impressions and tales transformed onto your plate.” - Jakob Mielcke

The place is very expensive even for Danish standards. So it seems that should be something extraordinary - unfortunately it is not. The decor (chairs in different colours) gives you impression of doctors waiting room. Service quite good but not passionate in food. But the most disappointing is food itself: of course prepared with a lot of efforts but the... More

Went to a german wine tasting dinner at the restaurant. The food was superb and so was the wines. But the sommelier was very buisy with a group of famous danes (food critics) and didnt notice our table as much as one would expect. Didnt spoil the food though. Danish/nordic with a asiatic twist. Situated in the royal danish hortocultural... More

Fantastic food. The style kitchen is quite innovative. Best wine menu I had at a gourmet restaurant in Copenhagen for years!

Very nice location and spacious. Everything detail is perfect here and had one of my best meals ever here. I'm not so fond of red wines, but the sommelier composed an excellent wine menu of white and sparkling wine. The food is fantastic, but of course an expensive place.

We had the five-course menu with matching wines. The wines were great, delicious and matched the food perfectly (as well as our taste). The food was very good and suitable for any special diet on request. That was a big plus! However I was a bit disappointed by the "creativity" of the food as I was expecting more "fusion" dishes.... We had the five course tasting menu (more like eight) with matching wine. Each dish was a treat--creative and delicious. For example a kind of crystallized leaf slightly curled and filled with a tasty array of herbs, mackerel slightly marinated with unlikely subtle flavors. Each dish was a surprise, with careful attention to bringing out original flavors and the wines... More

We were fortunate to be visiting friends in Copenhagen who took us to this one-of-a-kind dining experience. It was kind of rainy so we didn't get to experience the outdoors (which looked really nice). We were warmly greeted and immediately seated and handed a glass of champagne, great start to a long and entertaining evening of food and drink. Didn't... More

First of all the food was amazing. Really delicious. The staff were fun, engaging and made the evening. The decor is beautiful and quirky. Make sure you visit each of the four bathrooms! Really a special meal/evening, the best of our trip. The kind of night you'd propose to your partner at the end of if you weren't yet married

We were invited to this restaurant by my mother in law who is Danish. I am always wary of "new experience" in cooking because it usually means a lot of different ingredients and complicated techniques which does not make the basic product better, on the contrary. In this case though, I was very impressed. I love the fact that each... More
