Great place with good Danish sandwiches, beer and schnapps! Don't miss this place, when in Copenhagen!

Went with a Danish family that I know and had a great meal. The food is very traditional and very good! Had traditional Danish smørrebrød- and it was great! Lovely setting also.

Me and my girlfriend went to Denmark during the Christmas holidays to visit some family. They brought us for dinner to this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. All the dishes listed on the manu are genuine danish dishes and they tasted really good. The place itself is cozy and cute. Overall, we were really pleased with it!

Traditional Danish was our request and we got what we asked for. Starting with house made lax I picked a lemongrass sole over spinach with strips salmon and hollandaise sauce. In the side, traditional gravy, small white boiled potatoes in butter and dill and peas. My wife picked her favorite veal (wiener schnitzzle (sp?)) with asparagus, browned small potatoes and... More

In the charming Pile Allé at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, you will find an example of a traditional Danish lunch of the best quality. Good personal service, and more food than you can eat.

Great danish food in a genuine danish environment. The service is quick and nice. Fair prices compared to restaurants in city central. We always visit Hansens when visiting Copenhagen.

This is where I bring all my Scottish friends for a fine Danish supper. Open sandwich, seafood or anything with gravy is served here. Not a top of the art gourmet resturant - but atmosphere and fair prices brings this to be a great place especially if you're visiting from abroad.

This is not a gourmet restaurant!! But its a cosy and decent restaurant at a fair price. In the summer the roof comes off and it will be full of people enjoying traditional danish food. Unlike many other restaurants in the area they stay open, so there is no "kitchen is closed between lunch and dinner" issues. The Wienerschnitchel is... More

Went there with friends on a lovely warm summer evening and enjoyed the tradtional Danish dinner fare sitting outside on a covered patio. Atmosphere - like being in Denmark a generation or two ago. Food - ditto. Some of us enjoyed fried eel, which was perhaps a bit on the greasy side. One had the most perfect dish of fried... More

The traditional restaurant has a nice atmosphere, small old wooden houses in a circle and you eat outdoors at the inner yard. But the service was poor and slow and a nightmare for people with allergies, since there was no will to co-operate to leave out some ingredients from the dishes. We ordered salad (you can't call it a salad!... More
