Nice food and drink

Great location to visit from local campsites. Good selection of food which was served quickly. Plenty draught beers (5 I think) to choose from. Nice large outdoor area. Prices reasonable.

Ate here twice during a walking holiday staying in a nearby cottage. The service is friendly and efficient although it can get a bit hectic queuing at the bar to order drinks and food sometimes, especially when a group of thirsty walkers comes in (which is quite often). That said, waiting times for food were short and the food was... More

Close to campsite (Coopers), decent food, pricey drinks but very dog friendly! Had the Mam Tor burger, not bad, sat outside with the midges as very very busy which was a little bit offputting but hardly suprising!

We visited The Rambler Inn after a walk with friends in the hills surrounding Edale. Service was very quick at the bar and a great selection of 'proper' beers and ciders on offer. Seemed a bit pricey, hence the mark down in the value metric but an excellent location and will going back for food next time we're walking in... More

Nice Inn, nice people. The burgers are good. The vegetable soup was very good. Only, the vegetarian lassagna was horrible...swimming cheese and fat.

Went for lunch while visiting edale. Staff attentive and friendly. Food was lovely and big portions. Hubby had a burger special and Inhad the butternut squash and beetroot burger which was gorgeous! Very reasonably priced and clean tidy pub. Highly recommend

As soon as my Grandson and I walked into the Ramblers we got a friendly welcome you can take dog's in they were happy to open a tab at the bar we got a drink and looked at the menu which was quite extensive plus a specials board we ordered our food and it was delivered to our table before... More

Everything here is what you'd excpect from a pub/restaurant in the Peak District. The food is OK, the service friendly, the interior comfortable. The views are refreshing and beautiful. A nice place to go after a long walk. It might be worth mentioning that the place is dog friendly, which is great.

Everyone in this area should go to have drinks here as the scenery all around is fantastic. However the food I'm afraid is distinctly average, in fact the chips that were with the meals were awful. Friendly staff and very quick service after ordering your food at the bar and taking your own cutlery to the tables. We would go... More

My friends and I always visit The Rambler in summer as it boasts the best beer garden in the Peak District. Good selection of Peak ales and continental lagers and spirits. My friends and I also love the food. I've had the Vegetable Lasagne which is very tasty and comes with very fresh garlic bread on the side. My friends... More
