The Two Oceans Restaurant, opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 350 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location – a view that is unrivalled and world renowned.Of course, you can also enjoy some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines when you dine at the Two Oceans Restaurant. The restaurants extensive outdoor deck presents plenty of opportunity for an incredible breakfast as well, or to catch some sun before taking the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse, saving your energy for a walk down to one of the many beaches in the reserve. Our team of chefs meticulously prepare the comprehensive menu. The restaurant’s elegant fare is served in a relaxed manner, and can be enjoyed on our deck, or in the restaurant itself. Fresh seafood and sushi are the specialties, especially our world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter. We also cater for vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and the younger ones.

Appetizing Luncheon at Fair Prices

After visiting Cape Hope and Cape Point we stopped in for lunch at the lovely Two Oceans restaurant. Service was very good as was the food. We found the prices to be quite reasonable for seafood. I had the crayfish with a side salad and hubby ordered the grilled line fish with chips. Both... read more

Stunning location for a restaurant and the name says it all. Good food but not cheap but you are paying for the location. Nice place to relax after you walk up to the lighthouse.

We did the hike to the lighthouse with our group (13pax) and worked up an appetite. We had made reservations for this restaurant in advance and everything met our expectations! Stanley our waiter was fantastic and kept checking back on us for any extra attention. The pumpkin soup was delicious and the sushi bar was a great surprise to find... More

Fabulous food - can't say more but 5:5 in every way. Great wines. Wonderful waiter. Large restaurant yet the experience still felt personal. Don't go to Cape Point without dining here.

Reservation for 8 was lost despite confirming by email and then also replying to an SMS on the morning of our booking - not a good start. Cold and overcooked mussels, kingclip fish and vegetarian dishes also cold and a total confusion of flavours, cold oyster served with a side of cabbage and orange marmalade with the kingclip and a... Obviously geared towards visiting tourists, it is more expensive than our local haunts. But the food was prepared most deliciously, very nicely presented and served very quickly (I was only 1/3rd of my way down my Hunter's Dry) so worth the price. (It's also a great alternative to cooking your own when walking the two-day hiking trail as long as... More

A wide range of options from the menu, specially in seafood and sushi. They offer a kids menu too. Nigiri sushi and mushroom risotto were perfect! The view is fantastic. Kids food came first as they're always hungry. We loved it.

The most southerly restaurant in all of Africa provided a wonderful view of the Two Oceans. We had a late cooked breakfast ( restaurant opens 0930 ) that was excellent and at a bargain R60 each ! Scrambled eggs , bacon , sausages , mushrooms , tomato and toast with jam ! The good coffee was extra . Service was... More

With one of the most beautiful settings in the world, this restaurant certainly does justice to the Cape Point. After an exhilarating walk up to the lighthouse - we took a chance to eat at the Two Oceans. Fortunately we did not have to wait long for a table but I can imagine it being very busy in summer. A...
