The Two Oceans Restaurant, opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 350 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location – a view that is unrivalled and world renowned.Of course, you can also enjoy some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines when you dine at the Two Oceans Restaurant. The restaurants extensive outdoor deck presents plenty of opportunity for an incredible breakfast as well, or to catch some sun before taking the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse, saving your energy for a walk down to one of the many beaches in the reserve. Our team of chefs meticulously prepare the comprehensive menu. The restaurant’s elegant fare is served in a relaxed manner, and can be enjoyed on our deck, or in the restaurant itself. Fresh seafood and sushi are the specialties, especially our world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter. We also cater for vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and the younger ones.

We had sushi and tuna sallad, with a stunning view from table 33 outside. Both dishes were super fresh and beautifully presented. Two baboons on the roof were an extra spice! The portions are not super big but enough for normal eaters. Highly recommended in good weather.

I think this is the best restaurant in this part of the cape. The service has to be commented on. I think the manager may be Gloria and she is ON IT. The staff are very well trained and so helpful. They look enthusiastic and happy and give you a great welcome. Its always a joy to come. The food... More

My friends and I had lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant on one of the busy December days. We did not have a reservation but was told if we arrive before 12 they would be able to seat us outside on a first come first serve basis. We luckily arrived at 11 and by then they closed the restaurant for the... More

Arrived at the Cape and our guide recommended to sit down and enjoy the view instead of taking to the walk up option. Well he was right and we really enjoyed our lunch which was well presented, fresh, tasty and the service was timely. I passed one star lower because I thought the portion could have been a little more... More

Table: We booked for 1pm, and could have been seated straight away inside, however, the better seats were outside on the day we were there. They don't take bookings for outdoor tables, so this was a case of the first in getting the best seats. We did get a great table by waiting for someone to leave, but I think... More

Lunched here before tackling the funicular - arrived at a good time - restaurant was not too busy. We had booked which I think is essential! I had Panko prawns and a modern take on a Caprese salad and husband and Miss 11 had the calamari. All very good, fresh and light. We sat outside on a lovely day -... More

This is a lovely restaurant with a fantastic view and excellent food, but our experience was ruined by terrible service. And no, they weren't busy at all. This wasn't our first experience of slow service here, but all the other times they were very full and we assumed they were short staffed. I'd still recommend the experience of eating there... More

We sat outside and enjoyed a FANTASTIC view! The food was very good...one of the few sushi dishes we had in SA. The service was a bit slow but it really wasn't an issue as we were trying to spot whales in the water!
