Exceptional in pretty much every way !

Stayed here for a birthday treat for my wife and I. The location of the Yorke Arms is simply idyllic, set deep in the Yorkshire dales its a proper chocolate picture box setting. I booked our room about 4 months before our stay, and during this time I had a accident so needed a room with out... read more

expectations were high for Frances Atkins Michelin Star restaurant and we were not disappointed as it was a very good meal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned the meal and the service were excellent.

I went last Friday night and was seated in the smaller dining room, which was quieter and so lacking a little in atmosphere, but I'm being picky. From the moment you enter the front door of The Yorke Arms until to the moment you leave you are treated with great respect and yet a friendliness lacking in other similar establishments.... More

We stayed here for the last night of holiday 'back home' in Yorkshire... remembering the Yorke Arms long before Frances Atkins took it on. The building is as charming as ever and its location next to Gouthwaite reservoir is remote but beautiful. As a celebration meal, we had the tasting menu without the matching wine flight. As is to be... More

We stayed here for a special celebration with old friends. The suites were modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We were looking forward to a Michelin standard meal. the amuse-bouches were interesting but not out of the ordinary. We tried four of the starters the rabbit, the smoked cod, the lovage tart and the tapas. All... More

Without fail one of the UK's finest dining establishments. Location, service, ambience and interiors are all worthy of a special visit and I suggest you ask Francis Atkins to feed and water you as she deems ‘seasonally’ correct. Few chefs have a more magnificent reputation for such fine hospitality and her passion and dedication to cooking local produce will undoubtedly... More

Great to be back at the Yorke Arms tonight to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We both opted for the tasting menu with accompanying wines and were blown away. Some amazing dishes and the service was top drawer. Expensive but worth every penny.

This was our second visit to stay at the Yorke Arms & again we were not disappointed. We opted for a Courtyard room which was modern & a bit more to our taste, although there is nothing wrong with the rooms in the main building. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings & all I can say about the... More
