My second time to Yorke Arms and it did not disappoint. A group of four and we all had something different and every course was superb, faultless. The staff are faultless and attentive, the setting is lovely even at this time of year. Will be going back again without fail and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is our second visit to this delightful restaurant. The whole experience was outstanding! The staff greeted us warmly and were very friendly throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, which is what we expect when paying these prices. On our previous visit the staff were distant and uncommunicative so this was a great improvement. The food was superb!... More

Our second visit to Frances Atkins Yorke Arms for Sunday lunch. here courses plus hand made crisps and parmesan tarts in the bar whilst we perused the menu, Amuse Bouche and freshly baked bread before our appetizers. Food wine and service excellent as usual. Can't wait to go back.

All round perfect place. The setting is magnificent, the food is glorious and staff are very professional and attentive to detail. This is the place to spend the weekend.

Travelled for lunch on our way back home to the Lake District after visiting the nearby Devonshire arms for a few nights in Bolton abbey. We are both foodies, and love eating out regularly, both of us working in the industry. The idea of visiting Michelin starred restaurants for a relaxing meal is amazing, where you can sit and enjoy... More

We went for a special birthday treat lunch mid-week in early December and found only one other couple dining in the small front dining room with welcoming log fire and tasteful Christmas decorations. The waiter and waitress were very welcoming and looked after us well in a rather formal way. The food was wonderful both in presentation and unusual flavours... More

Our meal and overnight stay had been planned to celebrate a special birthday. We had the most superb meal in the delightful restaurant. We opted for the tasting menu which came with a specially chosen wine to accompany each course. This greatly added to the experience. Every course was perfect. The restaurant very kindly produced a meal without shellfish to... More

Made a special journey to sample the delights of this Michelin star restaurant. Have to say we were a little underwhelmed with the service and particularly, the ambience and general decor. From outside, the place is very lovely in a beautiful setting - perhaps better in the summer. However, when we went in we were shown directly in to the... More
