Lovely homemade food

Excellent food and prompt service. We called for lunch but serving was so genius didn't need dinner. Food was nicely presently portions large and service was excellent. If I had to find a fault I didn't like to be in the middle of the shop as people visiting the deli were constantly wandering... read more

Yet again we took a seat and waited and waited and it wasn't even busy, As I watched the staff chat behind the counter also noticed other people who had sat down before us waiting. Please go back to good old fashioned queuing

Saturday and very busy, which always tells you something about the choice you've made. But the service was swift and the food was excellent. Couldn't fault the ambience or the choice of food, most of which was home made - yum, yum!!! Best burger I've had in a very long while, btw. They cater for children too and there are high... More

If I had to find a fault I didn't like to be in the middle of the shop as people visiting the deli were constantly wandering through so not very relaxing.

Had a most delicious lunch here with a friend. Can recommend their salads. Especially the chickpea one! The hot dog is delicious. It's not cheap, but you get your money's worth. Can't wait to return!

Visited today with my husband, and have visited regularly in the past. Always a brilliant little stop for lunch. Food is always top quality, and service is very good. Surroundings are also lovely, modern & bright. My only negative would be the menu selection.....cold winter day would love to have seen homemade soup on the menu, as there was a... More

The Farm Shop promises so much but is let down by the attitude of the staff. The coffee and cake is good but the experience is let down by poor staff. It is not all the staff but sadly the majority so the overall experience is poor. Very disappointing.

A lovely stopover for breakfast, slightly scrimpy on the meats but big slices of toast and lovely black pudding! The farm shop is simply amazing, deli counters and meat plus a wide and varied selection of local beers and international wines. Fresh produce from the farm. Local shopping heaven! Very busy given the time of year and clearly popular with... More

We are frequent visitors to the Hawarden Estate Farm shop. The selection of local and artisan food and drink is unequalled in North Wales. If you want to eat, or just enjoy a hot / soft drink, the cafe is excellent. The butcher and delicatessen counters are superb and staffed with friendly, knowledgable staff. All-in-all the best farm shop in... More

Since it was a fine day I walked down from Hawarden, though I could have caught a bus. Arrived hungry and thirsty so opted for lunch first, shopping second. Excellent choice as the cafe area filled up quickly. While waiting for my lunch to arrive I had time to look around and see what people were buying, and plan my... More

This place is like a TARDIS. We had a great breakfast sitting in the shop surrounded by counters of delicious looking fresh and local produce. The butchery was amazing and the deli counter and cheeses - out of this world. A lot of thought has gone into the whole project and it shows. Thank you for a great stop, Shame... More
