lovely place for an alfreso meal

The interior design is quite splendid with a classical theme of murals etc We found the menu not too expansive. I don`t want to read a `book` of options which only manage to complicate the food, but good quality home cooked food at a reasonable price and a friendly service from the family Not... read more

We have eaten at this restaurant at least once a year for the last 4 years and this is the first time we have been disppointed. My husband ordered the steak and asked for it to be well cooked as undercooked meat makes him ill. He sent it back twice as it was still very undercooked, and in the end... More

Each year when we return to Palaia we eat at Bacciomeo & it just keeps getting better. After we first found it three years ago , our daughter decided to have her wedding reception there. The attention to detail was incredible& the food truly amazing . A wonderful memory for us all. Tonight we ate there for the third time... More

We went for dinner as 3 couples. The setting is quite beautiful. The interior of the building has some breathtaking murals that are hardly done justice by the photos on this site. We are outside in the garden in a delightful arbour. The food is classic Tuscan and simply delicious. Most of us had the Angus Carpaccio which was one... More

This was our last dinner of our two week italian and one of the best. Sitting in Baciomeo is an experience, art surrounds you and the food is presented as a piece of art. Owners and staff are friendly and provide great service. The pieces are very reasonable.

Built in the 17th century the main dining room has a huge chandelier with enormous frescoes on the walls. Outstanding food - and being adventurous we tried pasta with wild boar and suckling pig, amongst other dishes. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. We'll be back!

We first started going here when it opened 3 or 4 years ago and it just gets better and better. A family affair with the charming Monia front of house and her mum assisting with the cooking. Typical of the region the food is Tuscan style wonderfully cooked and presented in beautiful surroundings. The menu changes seasonally and the wine... More

Tucked away in the middle of Palaia, behind a large brick wall and next to a cafe style restaurant is the Bacciomeo. Good food and service awaits you here in a dining room with glorious frescos. Great steaks are cooked on an open fire to order.
