The restaurant has had a complete refit since we visited in 2013. Excellent facilities and service. Menu del dia was 10 euros, and what outstanding value that really is. Great choice on the menu, and once again we could not really fault it. If you have never been here before, thoroughly recommend it. You will neither be disappointed to hungry... More

Following previous reviews decided to visit El Tiburon during our weekend in Aguilas. We sat on the terrace as the interior was booked for a wedding. The weather was unseasonally chilly with a cool wind so we would have preferred an inside table which was not possible. My salad was good and appetising with a varied collection of salad vegetables... More

We have been here before, I wondered as it is the sunday of Fathers Day how would they cope with the extra numbers, would standards slip, so in we went. Most of the tables were set for 4 or 6 or even 8 persons and most reserved, however a very helpful waiter found us a table for two. We had... More

Ideal place to sit outside and while away the afternoon with drinks and tapas. There are better bars/restaurants in Aguilas.

Fifth visit to this great restaurant. If your taste is fish or meat you will not be disappointed. There is a choice of menu do dia at 15€, menu del noche at 15€, menu del fin de semana at 15€! Or a la carte if you want to go upmarket....but not really necessary as set menus include tostadas with alioli... More

We entered via a busy bar into an air conditioned dining room. The very pleasant waiter brought us toast and dips plus our very large salad. I had a steak washed down by an acceptable house red and Elaine had calamares. We both had sweet from a long list of choice and then coffee, all together a very pleasant meal.... More

Having read all the reviews we were looking forward to the visit. The menu read well. They were busy but then, there must be 200 covers, so they should be used to it. The bread and drips arrived with the salid and the first course. The apple timbale and my potato and black pudding were poor. The rest of the... More

Been to Aguilas a few times now. And to this resturant/ bar too. I have a theory that 90% of the restaurants in Spain have the same menu so you choose by atmosphere, location, service and value. That about sums it up. El Tiburon is nothing special but it is greater that the sum of its parts. So it is... More

Very authentic- we got many items to explore the menu. The steak item was a blast- they bring a BBQ to your table, and a platter of raw meat (I know it sounds weird but was great). They salt the grill with rock salt- and you grill up your meat. A true carnivore delight- my sons had a blast. Avoid... More

We called in to El Tiburon late in the evening, hoping to have tapas. We were given a warm welcome in the bar, and the staff were delightful, helping us choose tapas and cooking very tasty tapas of fish, chicken and potatoes bravos..etc, We enjoyed the atmosphere!
