I've eaten beef rendang, pho and Thai green curry here at different times. The food is nice and authentic, serving size is good for the price, the atmosphere of the cafe is similar to places I've been at in Singapore and in general I've found the service good - I pay, the food arrives, it's the right order. One thing... More

We booked but still waited 10 minutes to be seated. Food was great and cheap, nothing wrong with the table service considering they were flat out. Waiting to pay was the issue, there's a sign right above the register saying "no seperate billing" but the eight young girls (full of their own importance) in front insisted on seperate bills and... Its ok, its one of the cheapest place to eat and have a drink, and it is always full, but service is not that good had to wait for at least half an hour and then had to call someone, it is a very very busy place so maybe that was the reason but the food was not that good,... More

I took my family there for a meal, never again! The staff were shocking, we booked a table and waiting to be seated for 15mins. Once seated we waited a further 20mins to order drinks and our meal. The staff were rude and didn't care about paying customers. Had to go up to the counter to order more drinks as... More

Best cheap Asian eats in the northern suburbs. Huge menu and despite the variety, they cover a range of Asian cuisines really well. Try the spicy salted squid, Szechuan chicken, beef rendang, Kway teow... Well it's all pretty decent so go and try a bunch of stuff and see for yourself. Expect to have to ask to order, wave down... Food is okay, but nothing spectacular and the sea food seems to have a peculiar taste at times. Beer is quite cheap and the service is good. Avoid the seafood and stick to chicken and noodles and you'll be okay.

First time at Kulcha and we were pretty impressed. Beer was cheaper than anywhere else. Cafe style casual dining was great, lots of people coming and going. Food was great and the portions are pretty big. We reckon 1 dish would easily serve 2. Came home with some takeaway containers from what we couldn't finish. Deffo go again!

Consistent value for money. We eat here at least once or twice a month. It's nice to sit outside in the warmer weather. Can get very noisy inside when it's packed (chairs scraping on the floor and generally lots of noise) Good to go with a crowd and share lots of different dishes. Big bonus it's also BYO!
