A humble operation, i.e. just a few tables, not extra posh interiors etc but the young chef is very talented esp. in coming up with interesting, yet subtle combinations of tastes. It is one of the not so many restaurants where I dare say that anything on the menu is good. Price-wise certainly on the better value side of things,... More

Osteria del gusto offers a very cozy atmosphere. The limited number of seats contributes to this atmosphere as well as to the low degree of noise. The selection of food is not very broad, but offers interesting plates for any taste. Pastas and starters were great, whereas steak was only average. Good service from the nice family owning the place.... More

I lived in Ariccia for three months, and during all of my travels throughout Europe none of the food compared to Osteria del Gusto. Our group got to know the family-owners well and dined here frequently. They are the epitome of a welcoming Italian family, with an incredible gift for cooking. I strongly recommend the saccotini but you cannot go... More

The chef is exceptional and creative and the dishes are beautifully served. After at least 10 visits, everything I have tried is great, but I recommend the saccotini (i.e. pear pasta!). Great food, great hosts, great experience.

I lived in Ariccia for 3 months and this restaurant was the one place we couldn't get enough of! The place is run by a lovely couple whose son is the chef--an amazing one. I recommend the pear ravioli and the gnochetti most of all but know that every dish on the menu is exquisite. Food is served in such... More

I was walking with my wife in the streets o Ariccia on a chilled Friday night. I had already sampled a frascheteria for lunch and wanted to eat more substantial food at a restaurant. Found it at Osteria del Gusto, it is a nice little restaurant in an alley. Actually I was looking at the menu when a local lady... More

The food was great however the service was the worst I have had in many years. We felt like this place is catering to locals only. Two adjacent tables got seated after us and started getting served while we were still waiting for our waiter to show up.

Ariccia is a charming city in the hills outside of Rome and boasts the only church designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini outside of Rome. If you want to put the cherry on the top of the cake of a well spent day touring the Castelli, dine at Osteria del Gusto. But please make reservations in advance as this tiny, charming... More

This place is excellent. The price-quality is great. I've been here twice and both times had a good experience with service and the food.
