Awesome Food!

Great fish, really well cooked and not too much batter. Another person from our table had a burger and it looked pretty awesome. Butterscotch candy at the end was a nice touch too :)

I grew up on this restaurant being our favourite take out joint, and it has never failed to impress me, or anyone I've exposed this restaurant to. What's better than their fish? Honestly? Try the Chicken Fingers. Their fries are the perfect compliment to the meal. They aren't crispy like "Fair fries", but they are well cut, have great flavour...... More

Had lunch here today. Great service, excellent food. I recommend the herb crusted cod, it's amazing. As a bonus they have an awesome selection of local draft beers. The Bitter Warrior goes particularly well wih the cod.

Go early or you will line up no matter what day. This is a favorite summer destination for everyone in the Bobcaygeon area. Several items on the menu but the favorite is halibut and chips I am sure. Well presented cooked to perfection. Thinly battered with real fries not frozen. Service is friendly, a small wait because of the volume... More

This is a small-town gem. People come for the awesome halibut and chips but here's a tip: the owners used to own a great butcher shop and they know steak. In fact it's hard to beat their steak anywhere - it's that good. Lots of other menu items if you want to eat healthy. The pies are homemade and worth... More

The servers at the Halibut are very attentive, and professional. The food and presentation is never disappointing. Great work guys, keep it up.

As always it was excellent and was topped off with the best coconut cream pie ever (and I have had a lot of it!). I have always loved the food here but I noticed when friends came to visit us for a weekend they always ask if we can go to "the halibut" for dinner. They often have a steak... More

We went to this restaurant years ago and decided not to go again, but I broke down and tried it today. Still not impressed. When we arrived we had to seat ourselves and other couples did the same. I had to go and get a server. The fish and fries leave a major greasy taste after eating. It took hours... More
