On visiting or living in Stonehaven a fine place for a coffee and friendly staff is Maggie Mays. The cafe/restaurant is right in centre of town in the market square. The cafe has seating for about 30 people in a well decorated and light and airy atmoshere. There is a good menu and there is something for everyone. I overheard... More

My partner and I decided on Maggie May's after searching Stonehaven for a place for lunch. It's a busy wee café and with it being Easter Monday we were lucky to get a table. We were welcomed very quickly and the service throughout our meal was great. Nothing was too much trouble for the waitresses who were run off their... More

We were looking for somewhere en route to Aberdeen from Glasgow for a breakfast/ brunch stopover and after a bit of Internet research we decided to try Maggie May's. It was a great decision. Easy to find in the centre of the town, the premises were clean, nicely decorated and the staff were friendly. Although small the tables offered plenty... More

Been here quite a lot recently. Great wee cafe, good food, good service. It is very small and there is no room for push chairs.

Pieces of hard plastic in my lemon meringue pie imported from Edinburgh…and don't know about you, but I really have a problem with the carbon footprint of cakes being delivered all the way from the south of England which is where the carrot cake supposedly comes from….something very wrong with this picture.

We stopped by to have some lunch in Stonehaven from our trip from Aberdeen and what a delightful surprise we had! Delicious home made style cuisine, amazing cakes and deserts and very friendly personnel! A must try!

Lovely cafe. Very pleasant surroundings and the friendliest staff ever. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was first class. This was the best All Day Breakfast I've ever had and very well priced. Will definitely be back.
