The food was just fantastic. I loved everything. The weithers were friendly. I was only said that the menue is only in Italian, as the resturant was full,of people from Slovenia and Croatia. The lady of the house was friendly and translated everything to us, so it tursned out ok. BUt still. We were... read more

Whether choosing from their tasting menu or al a carte you are sure to be pampered here. If the Italian menu presents difficulty no worries as the staff is there to assist and explain each wonderful option..not to mention choosing in appropriate wines to accompany each course. Very knowledgable and dedicated . I fabulous experience each visit highly recommended

I have been to this place with three other close friends who work in the food industry. Everything, from the people who bring traditions on the plate to the people who truly create each dish, is carefully taken care of, with the classic "food-breaks" crafted to move from one course to another. That make a good experience delightful. Very well supplied... More

Our dinner at La Subida was one of the most memorable of our recent trip to Friuli. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. Our meals were unique and memorable. The service was warm but sophisticated. The atmosphere and the decor emphasized the arts and crafts of the local region. The kitchen regularly... More

I was here with my wife and another couple. We expected a lot from this place as it came highly recommended by several people. Also the reviews on TA are great, but I strongly recommend checking out the ones in italian (they can be translated by clicking a button) as they more accurately reflect the reality of things about this... Excellent restaurant in the Collio area, beautiful and with a touch of rustic feeling. All courses boasted local, fresh, high-quality ingredients interpreted in a creative way, executed to perfection and nicely presented. Service was very kind and attentive. The selection of local wines was awesome, with an amazing Ramandolo wine that accompanied our desserts. An experience to remember.

It is not easy to find it but if you like domestic food in traditional restaurant go for it! We were a big group and at the beginning the served several different aperitifs and finger food. After that we enjoyed in cheese. We were full before we even reach the table. The dinner was terrific mixture of local food interestingly... More

It was all good. The restaurant features local fresh ingredients. The tasting menu is a buffet of gourmet treats. Service is fine, local wines terrific. No room for dessert, but had it anyhow.

Just because this dinner we crossed 200 km, but I must admit that we were expecting a little bit more. My husband and I took the tasting menu of seven courses, because the menu is only in Italian and we didn't know what else to order. This restaurant should have a menu at least on one more language, English or... More
