Made me wish I had two stomachs!

This is a tiny spot right on the main strip of Boquerón, facing the water. They make their own beer, have a limited but adequate liquor selection, and a window that allows you to see the Chef hard at work pumping out delicious dishes. We sat on the front deck, sipped mojitos and enjoyed some... read more

We heard so much about this place and it has closed forever. Owner moved back to USA a few weeks ago. Oh well

Really looked forward to trying La Marea while in Boqueron, only to find the owner had closed to return to the states! We had tried calling several times earlier in the afternoon, with the phone always signaling busy (still is), so we walked the street and asked for directions, only to be informed the restaurant had closed. Oh well.

This place was cozy, wished we had more time to stay and eat there. The bartender was very very friendly. The best piña colada in this trip by far, plus original formula ( no touristic gimmicks ). In any future trips to a Puerto Rico to Boqueron I'm definitely going back to this bar/ restaurant.

Sweet little bar and restaurant in beatiful boqueron. Laid back ambience with good drinks and scrumptious offerings to complement your Carribean evening. Tried the ceviche and roasted Brie, both delightful. Also enjoyed the Boqueron Brewing Co. Blonde on tap, and well made house cocktails. Enjoy...

What a wonderful little spot! Short simple menu, excellent friendly service, exceptional Sangria and local beers, and the food is outstanding. Considering we visit during down season this place was open 6 days while most other places are open for only 4 or 5 days. Roberto is a pleasure to have as a waiter and every single item in the menu... More

We've been in PR for two weeks and, tonight is our last night and had our best meal. We had been tired of eating local foods that were mostly fried (sorry, when at home, I eat really healthy and am not used to fried foods). While at La Marea, we had a delicious fish with veggies. The fish was light... More

We return to this restaurant with some spaced regularity but wish to advise customers of experienced pitfalls. Ask for their charge prior to ordering the following: A prime rib or prime steak, I was charged once $36. and $42. respectively for less than prime quality; artisanal beer, I was charged once $7.50 for a 10 oz beer; an order to... I have been here with my family three different times and every one of them has been a delight. Being small- dish-enthusiasts, we were thrilled with the variety in the appetizer menu. The first time had the ceviche, we fell in love with it and have had it everytime since. They serve this amazing garbanzo bean salad that will convert... More

I eat here at least twice a week when I'm in Boqueron and I get the tuna tartare every time. Never a let down, and as always, the best meal on the island. Yep, I said it. THE BEST ON THE ISLAND!
