Came here for dinner of first night of our honeymoon. Many places close early in Vincennes, so we're lucky to find this place. It's located in a quaint little area of Vincennes directly across from Le chateau de Vincennes. Service was pleasant, waiter knowledgeable, ordered rabbit pâté to start, very good! Ambience of restaurant was charming. Bring coins as the... More

Great desserts, affordable and well-prepared entrees and plats-principal, service was friendly and accommodating. Ordered a few things modified; waiter never skipped a beat. Would recommend as a low-midrange budget excellent restaurant.

Is this the best French restaurant I have eaten in? No. What you get is good food and service at a reasonable price (for the area)' On a recent visit my wife my son (a chef) and I are here twice. The chef declared the food "very good", all I can say is that I agreed with him. I loved... More

Ate here with my husband on a particularly busy Sunday lunch time. There was a vintage car event at the Château and a breast cancer event which had hundred of participants finishing just outside the Château walls so the restaurant was extremely busy. However, the service was very good and both of us agreed that our meals were excellent. I... More

We only popped in for some small and quick to eat. The salade nicoise was good and the fish soup was OK. I suspect that the soup was not homemade and it was also lukewarm. I believe that the rouille that came with the soup was also not homemade. The baguette bread was not great either. We ordered one glass... More

Came across this restaurant after a morning spent at Chateau de Vincennes. It was a hot day by noon and we were fortunate to get a table for 4 inside out of the sun. Our portly waiter was friendly although disappointed we didn't speak french other than greetings and table request. Nevertheless, he was good at English and seemed to... More

The waiters are rude, the owner is worse. These people are abusing customers refusing to sell wine by the bottle unless you eat a meal which is completely illegal - they just want to make more margin selling by the glass. As somebody who has lived in France for 26 years I have never had such an experience. DO NOT... More

I wonder if this was the same cafe as the other reviews. There were three of us and we had salad Nicoise and coquilles saint jacque plus dessert and a glass of wine each for lunch. Excellent food, reasonably priced and plenty of it. I could not fault either the food or the service and all for about 60 euros... More
