We made a pit stop here on our way to Papallacta and it was totally worth it. The owner is Swiss and speaks fluent English. The food is delicious and the prices are awesome!!! Definitely try this place, it won't disappoint!

Loved the hamburgers, the crispy fries, and the view towards the river broadwalk (the river is just across the street). The place is clean and safe. Come early, because it can get packed.

I've had breakfast, snacks and a few pilsners at Tortuga and each time I visited the staff was awesome, bathroom clean and food great! It has a great location right next to the river as well as the best coffee in town. It's a great spot to meet locals and travellers alike and the menu is very reasonably priced, a... More

This cafe is most frequently visited by foreigners, but the staff is friendly and attentive to tourists and locals alike. The prices are a little high for the area, but nothing unreasonable.

We stopped in on a hot afternoon just to get a cool drink. Ended up enjoying the best Coca-Cola float I think I've ever had. The menu is a bit limited but pretty fairly priced, and the service was prompt and courteous. Before or after, take a little trip to the park at the island just under the bridge outside... More

We couldn't believe we stumbled across this gem! Food - the quality is fantastic, it's all cooked freshly for you, the ingredients they use are delicious. Highly recommend their breakfasts, the Tortuga burger & yukka chips - delicious! You just don't expect this quality in somewhere like Tena. We enjoyed it so much, we went once a day during our...
