We arrived late after poor service and no food in our hotel but we were greeted with open arms and given exceptional service. The seafood was wonderful and prepared simply without being overpowered with sauces. We will definitely return when in the area again!

The seafood was very nice, and so was the wine. We suspect that the puddings (tart tatain and chockolate fondant) were bought from some industrial producer, which is no good! During our stay a bunch of kids was running about shouting and screaming. Nothing for the restaurant to do about it we suppose, but it was still very annoying!

Despite arriving very late for our reservation, we were welcomed by Paula and talked ( and gestured) though the menu. We accepted her recommendations and were served the most succulent squid followed by a delicious seafood pasta, and then the freshest sea bream I have ever tasted. Add to this the close-up view of the harbour and the enthusiasm of... More

We had booked a table on very short notice, but no problem at all. Great seating on one of the two terraces, with a view overlooking the small harbour. We picked a local \ Ligurian white wine, honesty priced and glancing through the menu it became evident that fish is the word for this restaurant. The chef came t our... More

I had there my favorite spaghetti alle vongole. Very fresh and tasty. The same for meals that my family ordered (pasta with truffles and tomato sauce for my son. For dessert I tried an excellent small strawberries and sorbet limone which was great. The staff did not speak any English but we managed. The only minor point was that we... More

We've been in this restaurant in the past, we were very impressed and we were really eager to get back. Unfortunately, not all went as we were hoping. While the restaurant is obviously not responsible for their guests, it might be a good idea to separate the crowds with kids with customers looking for a peaceful evening, especially as they... More

We recently spent two nights in Arenzano and after checking out trip advisor decided to try L'Approdo. We were two adults and two kids, and we all loved it. We sat outside and flattened great starters of mixed seafood platters, primi piatti spaghetti, which was al dente with a beautiful truffle, cream and veal sauce. Then we went onto more... More
