I have been going to to the Turtle Club since 1990 with family and friends when in Fairbanks and have always been happy with my food! We went there two nights in a row august 9 and 10th. I like this restaurant very much and will go back when I return to Fairbanks Alaska!

We were here two years ago and the food was AMAZING! However, things have gone downhill from then. We were there August 10, 2014 and the prime rib was not good at all. When we were here a few years ago, they offered barbecue in addition to the current menu. That is no longer available. We had the shrimp cocktail,... More

Our food was good. Overpriced with a small menu selection. Salad bar was good with plenty of selection. Not too big but not super small. The dining area was reservation only but the bar was just as nice and had plenty of room. The wait staff was superb!!!! Not lots of restaurant choices in fairbanks.

Total dissapoitment! I was looking forward to visit the place until we pulled up and saw that parking lot was all muddy (it was rainy day as most of summer in Alaska).By the time I walked to the front door my shoes were all dirty. This place required reservation so people automatically think that you need to dress nice so I... This will be my second time eating here. Both times amazing. It is everything you want in an Alaskan experience. Like walking back into the 70s/80s in Alaska. The bar is classic and where you wait for your table. Where the locals hanging around and talking and the tourists sticking out like a bad thumb. This place is the place... More

Hello whiners and nay sayers. The Turtle Club is nothing more or less than it pretends to be, a good old time supper club with great prime rib. If you can't enjoy some funky old time decor and a salad bar that your mom would have loved, go somewhere else. We enjoyed our dinner there. One hint, and I've seen... More

I had the prime rib, which was tender, but was soaked in garlic salt so that some bites tasted like you were just licking a bottle of garlic salt. My husband had the sautéed shrimp, which was also overly seasoned with garlic salt. The shrimp itself was flavorless. I would not go back.

We visited the Turtle Club after a very long day driving to the Arctic Circle. The atmosphere was warm and definitely small town feel. The menu was a placemat on your table, they had only a few options, but enough in my opinion. They had an old school salad bar, nothing fancy but very tasty and fresh. The meals my... More

Hard to believe that one can find a fantastic cut of prime rib eight miles north of Fairbanks, AK but you sure can. A limited menu but if you want prime rib this is the place. A nice salad bar is also available.

There are very few fine dining establishments in Alaska, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this diamond in the rough. While not exactly the Ritz, the food is very good and the atmosphere is definitely a step up from anything else we found in the state. Busy though, so make reservations!
