I'm glad we made the drive to visit, dine and drink at Silver Gulch! The food was good, lots of local beers, and tons of beers from around the world. Service was good, price was comparable for AK, nice atmosphere. We had 8 people with us, everyone got something different, all looked and tasted good, I had the fish and... More

The beers are varied, interesting and tasty. A well balanced menu incorporates many delicious brews, including the desserts. I had the Scotch egg as my appetizer which, along with the Moostard as dipping sauce, in one of my favs. Overall a good dining experience. A flaw is the un-rinsed bleach odor in the restroom, which sent my asthmatic friend to... More

Stayed in a cabin that happened to be right behind this spot! Great place, frequented it a lot that week! Loved the Red Flag IPA and the house fries were awesome. Old 55 and Northern lights were good beers as well. Go to this spot!

Gourmet pub food, plenty of it. Beer and Cheese soup, "Hush Puppies" with fish in them, nice Scotch Eggs, just every manner of delights. Others at my table were happy to find a beer sampler and tried 5 different kinds over dinner.

My wife and I had a very good meal at Silver Gulch in Fox, Alaska, tonight. Since it was Wednesday Oyster night, when fresh Pacific oysters that are harvested in Kachemak Bay near Homer, Alaska, on Tuesday and flown in Wednesday morning, we ordered a half dozen ($16) as an appetizer. Tonight they were served warm with a bacon, parmesan,... More

If you are in the Fairbanks area, this brewery is worth the side trip to Fox. It is located up in the hills which used to be (and probably still is) gold country north of Fairbanks. We checked over the list of their brews and picked one to start the name of which I'm not quite sure. Something like "Osculum... More

The service was wonderful, and the root beer margarita was very good. Our dinners were good, but not the best in the Fairbanks area. (We had the fish&chips and hamburger.). This is worth a try.

We stayed at The Alaska Heritage House B&B in Fairbanks, and Van recommended the Silver Gulch Brewery for dinner. We had a great waiter (Mark) and I tried a couple of the house beers. My favorite was the Osculum Infame. Very very good. For dinner I had the Downtown Fox Burger with salad. The salad was pretty good, with ranch... More

This place is pretty out of the way, but we were visiting family in Fairbanks and they wanted to take us there. The outside is deceiving compared to the inside. A very nice atmosphere. We sat in the upper level which has a view of the downstairs and that was a nice touch. The menu had less choices than I... More

My husband and I visited here to try another brewery while on vacay. It's a 15 minute or so drive from Fairbanks. We were seated promptly and ordered beer flights. The server returned telling us she spilled our beer and it was refilling. When she did bring, she could not tell us which beer was which. Dinner was ordered after... More
