It's well worth the drive. The beer and ale selection alone makes this an excellent choice but the meal was also superb. I had the grilled salmon and it was amazing. If you are visiting Fairbanks, this restaurant is in the 'must visit' category for sure.

We decided to give Silver Gulch another go last night. For a Saturday night there were a lot of tables open. We were seated within 5 minutes at a hightop near the bar. The service was pretty good and the waitress got us everything we asked for. The food was okay in my opinion, it wasn't something you would over... More

This place has a great selection of beer, bottled and tap. They also have wine and a small bar. The food was really good. My wife and I both had burgers. I recommend the cajun fries over the garlic fries. It is a little pricey, but it was worth it. The ground floor is a little noisy, not sure how... More

Dear Brent H, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Silver Gulch. I am glad that you like our beer selection and food. I also appreciate that you recommend a reservation on the weekends. It does get very busy here and I hate to have people waiting for tables. Beer garden should be open in May... More

We went there twice for dinner, and were pleased both times. The food tasted fresh and they were willing to accomodate special requests. Service was friendly and as some other reviewer sugested seemed a little overwelmed. The beer selection was nice and you can order a selection of their homemade brew. The outside of the building is fine and looks... More

Fell in love with the light butterscotch flavor of the Copper Creek Amber and the light chocolate taste of the Pic Axe porter. The Fairbanks Lager tastes slightly of coffee with a very fast finish on the tongue. Northern Light was a lemony delight, almost like champagne. The Snow Hook IPA had a great balance and was super easy to... More

Dear KOSacramento, Thank you for taking the time to review Silver Gulch. I am glad you tried and liked a variety of our beers and gave very accurate descriptions of them. Good point about the carb overload, but the pretzels are very popular with our pasta dishes. Thanks again for taking your valuable time to review Silver Gulch and I... More

If you enjoy beers with lots of flavors (on top of the flavors from grains), you would enjoy Silver Gulch's beer. For dessert, you don't want to miss their chocolate stout cake. I don't usually like chocolate cake, but I finished this one bite after bite. Highly recommended.

Very slow service. Server seemed over stretched on tables. Food came out lukewarm. Sent it back to be heated and it wasn't much better. Found bones in my fish and was told, "well, it's salmon." Kids mac and cheese was not kid friendly. Sadly, none of the kids liked their meals. At least my husbands food was good and came... More

I traveled to Fairbanks for work and we found this restaurant and Brewery. The menu was was excellent and all the dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection. The service was a little slow, but not a major disctractor. As a craft beer drinker, I enjoyed sampling the many options available. This is a must stop for our next trip.

This was a hamburger of distinction, for a good price! If you want a bit of an expedition, a short drive North from town. Very large seating area, nice interior. There is s brewery to peruse, a bar, and a nice gift shop. To do the place justice I should be reviewing the ales as well, but alas, I do... More
