A group of us from work ate dinner here before our long travel night. We had a great time and the food was excellent. The beers were good.

I visited Silver Gulch for dinner with a friend as we were exploring the Fairbanks area. I am not a fan of beer but I figured while at the northernmost brewery, I should order a beer. I had a lighter ale I believe and it was good. I paired it with a burger and it really was delicious. If I... More

We moved to Fairbanks a couple months ago and finally decided to check out Silver Gulch. We were not disappointed. We went on a Saturday for lunch to beat the crowds and the service was friendly and fast. I'm German and very happy to see their big selection of German beers, especially Hefeweizen. I gave one of Silver Gulch's seasonal... More

The "World's most northern brewery" is a great place to get a beer or two and some dinner. Whenever friends come into town we make the drive out. That is the only real downside (about 15 minutes outside of Fairbanks), but you can cross the street to the Howling Dog Saloon if you need something else to do.

Had the Fish and Chips and the poached eggs and several of their beers. Very good - some of if not the best fish and chips. And I knows some fish and chips. Got the cajun chips - good serving size - massive really. Beers were really good - and I'm not a fan of microbrew. Nick was great -... More

We were recommended by the local to visit this Brewery. We managed to check out this place on our last day in Fairbanks just before catching our flight back. Did not make any reservation but managed to get a seat immediately at the bar. Service was fast and food portion was huge. Great place to chill with friends with wide... More

Had reservations, sat us early, then unfortunately had a wait a bit for service. Food was good and filling. Highly recommend the Alaskan Hushpuppies. Didnt have room for dessert... next time.

If you are in the Fairbanks area, a detour to Fox is well worth it, especially if you are hungry or thirty for some "old-school" root-beer. Actually their homemade root-beer reminds me of old fashion Sarsaparilla. The halibut tacos were fantastic as well as all of our order. This is a Must Visit restaurant, that has wonderful food and some... More

Silver Gulch's claim to fame is as the northernmost brewery in Alaska, but we go back for the food. The hush puppies, bear little resemblance to other food of this name, are always wonderful. Halibut tacos are also a consistent winner. And oh yes, the beer. Something for every taste, but 40 below stout is my first choice.
