We have eaten (and drank) at the Silver Gulch Brewery in Fox, Alaska 6 or 7 times while visiting the Fairbanks area over the last couple of years. Our most recent visits were the last week of June, 2014. The food is good, I would say pretty standard bar food.....but the beer, the beer is absolutely great! We got in... More

Okay, we drove up from Fairbanks because it is the northernmost brewery in the U.S. and that's worth going a few miles out of your way. The exterior is not unattractive, but looks like a factory, so our expectations were low but, happily, we went in. The dining room was much nicer than we expected from outside. Our server did... yes its what you expect: a brewery restaurant with more local visitors than tourists, fair prices and huge portions, and of course: good beer. Ok, we come from Germany, and let say: not so easy to impress us with beer :-) – and yes: breweries like this one are far away from that, what we have had 20 years in... More

Beautiful building inside. Locations is easy to find. Our server was very gracious. Told us all about the brewery. Suggested the beers to sample. Food was delicious.

We ate here twice while in Fairbanks area. Would definitely go back. We tried ribs, salmon, pizza as well as salads. The raspberry vingarette they make is so tastey.

A local advised us to give this place a try. It was well worth it. I ordered the fried shrimp and they were perfect. Everyone loved their meals. I tried a little of the pizza and it was also very good. Well worth going to.

If you're in Fairbanks and you enjoy different varieties of craft beers, this is "must visit" location. Their restaurant also offers a wide selection including fresh Alaskan seafood such as salmon and halibut. And all are resonably priced.

A little bit out of Fairbanks, but certainly worth the effort. Well laid out with bar, restaurant and merchandise well set out and not interfering with each other. Beer excellent - the Epicentre one of the best beers I have ever had! Staff knowledgeable about products, and the brewery lays on special 'tasting' events, so check beforehand what is on... More

Got there at opening time (4pm) and service was a bit slow. Found out their walk in cooler was broke. Once they got rolling things started happening quick. Staff had a good attitude and was friendly. Got the onion rings, burger, and onion rings which were all terrific. Lots of good home brew beers and a nice selection if international... More

We stopped here for lunch during our summer 2014 road trip through Alaska after reading about it in the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (DDD) app FlavortownUSA. We tried the hush puppies and beer soup as recommended by DDD and they were ok, not great. However, the Beer Fried Hallibut and tacos were great! We also enjoyed the wide selection of... More
