Consistent and good

We loved going there for coffee and listening to the local morning banter. Consistent food and wonderful people running the place.

This "restaurant" is actually a mobile catering truck that has been parked and expanded with an attached counter area. Seating is at the counter on stools or outside at picnic tables. But the food is excellent. Nothing fancy, but good, creative, and fresh. Build a "Mr. Potatohead" figure while you wait. (Note - as of 8/2015, they are planning to... More

The business name may sound catchy and cute, which it is, of course, but believe me, the food here is awesome. Service was quick, food individually prepared, served piping hot right over the counter with high stools and ample space for eating the goodies. Hey...the coffee was fantastic also.

Only had a latte from here but it was great. Definitely a place to grab a quick bite and where you are sure to find the locals.

My wife and I had the pleasure of indulging on some café mochas, and lattes as well as the vegetable wrap. It was great fresh ingredients and the coffee products hit the spot!

I had the roasted chicken fajita wrap. It was freshly made with tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, roasted red peppers and loads of roasted chicken. Of course I had to have the freshly cut curly fries. Talked with a couple of locals who were eating and they said they eat there all the time. Guess so, as there was a sign... More

Everything potato is offered in this quaint and unique place. McCarthy is rustic and rural, but a taste of the potatoes here gave us the fuel we needed to go on! Bring a Mr. Potato Head to add to their decor!

Surprisingly good food in a very remote location. Any visit to McCarthy should include a stop at the Potatohead.

Lovely little friendly place serving great coffee. My tour guide told me I had to visit The Potato before I left McCarthy and I'm so glad I took his advice.

We had a sandwich and a wrap for breakfast with a warm chocolate and a mocca. We were served very quickly and were very satisfied with the quality of the food. Good value for money!
