Excellent fried fish, meat was ok. Good and fast service. Speak English. Place looks better from inside than outside. We sat towards the second entry where the heat came in. Next time we will eat in the climatised room.

Maybe its just a Texas thing but I don't like fish to arrive on the table The place looks like a strip club from the outside but the inside is very ethnic and inviting complete with the owners toddler running around barefoot offering smiles and giggles. Most of our party enjoyed their food, particularly the Paella but don't order the... More

We spent 2 weeks in Panama driving to many different areas. We ate a lot of very good food but Xoko had to be number one for us. It was recommended by our B&B in Farallon and we enjoyed it so much that we went back a week later on our way back to the city. I had the carpacio de... More

We noticed this restaurant from the highway when we initially passed it and then when it was highly recommended by the B&B where we're staying, we went back to try it for dinner. It's the bottom of low season here so we had the restaurant to ourselves but it was still a great dining experience. The staff and owner were... More

Went here after hearing a recommendation from a local. Good goat cheese salad though the lettuce had seen better days. Good steak and an ok spaghetti fritti di mare though the spaghetti sauce could have tasted a bit more flavourful. Tasted more like fish than anything else (and yes I know it is a frutti di mare sauce but still..).... More

We would highly recommend for dinner - needed a change of pace since many restaurants in Coronado are closed on Monday night. So we ventured 30 mins away to find a very good restaurant. We had prawns and corvina as our main dish both were excellent. Save room for desert - best FLAN in the beach area. I would also... More

We read the write-up in our trusted Lonely Planet which just said XOKO is a good place for tapas, and would not have gone there for dinner if we had not gotten recommendations from our hosts at Togo B&B. We went there for dinner and had the best, freshest fish prepared with grilled vegetables or any other choices. it was... More

This restaurant was a short ten minute walk from Villa Botero where we were staying. Some of this best Spanish cuisine you will find anywhere in the world. Their tapas are unique!

Great fresh food and terrific wine! Chef goes the extra mile to please his guests. We came back a few time and tried most of the menu!

I went to Xoco with my wife and we had a great dinner of corvina with garlic (sea bass), it was very good. Rolando, the chef was very friendly and stopped by our able to chat with us. He is Panamanian but studied cooking in Barcelona. We went there twice while we were staying in the area, the second night... More
