A good restaurant

Finding a steak house in this part of the world is interesting and when it turns out to be good it is a real bonus. Good choice of meat dishes, nicely served by a friendly and helpful staff made this a good stop. They have a good selection of other local foods but I didn't try them because I... read more

A little And simple restaurant on a street corner, but with delicious food! I had the chonta salad which was excelent, very tender, then the paiche fish with tacacho (banana ball with meat), the fish was very fresh and tasty and the tacacho the best i have had so far, finally i asked for an order or "maduro", OMG how... There are several places where you can get local food but I found this restaurant overall the best ... having great selection, quality of food, good and prompt service and very pleasant ambient ... and prices are very reasonable. If you like a fish, definitely try Paiche and ask for Camu Camu to as a drink .

Let me star by saying that everything is cheaper in Pucallpa than in Lima. In thin restaurant the prices were almost like the ones in Lima but the food was excellent. My only critic is that they have a/c and they don't turn it on I guess to save in electricity ( I saw two equipment). They only take cash,... More

Good grilled stuff (chicken, beef, pork, venison, majaz) also has my favorite Paiche (Arapaima gigas) on the grill. Majaz is a giant rodent that doesn't taste like chicken rather tastes like a mild pork. The service is very good. The place lacks of air conditioning and can get a little hot, in days like this one 98F. I recommend it.
