Harrington's Pub and Kitchen

May 18, 2015. I had the Irish Soda Bread ($4.00), and the Chicken Pot Pie with diced potatoes and root vegetables ($18). I also had a Harp's Beer. The meal was excellent! As the German's say, "Das Essen war Gut!" The food was good. The service was friendly and prompt.

When traveling I liked to visit Irish pubs and restaurants and with the name Harrington I thought this would be a great place. However this is larger then the typical Irish pub without the cozy pub feeling. I was warmly greeted upon entry and was asked if I would like to sit in or outside. As it was a nice... More

We love the National Harbor and thought we would try something new...... We walked by Harrington's and should have kept walking. 7-8 of the wait staff were sitting outside laughing about the condition of the ladies bathroom. We should have turned away! Nope we went inside, waited 6 minutes to be served. The restaurant had only three tables occupied. The... More

We stopped in on Saturday night and enjoyed a selection of brews on tap and in bottles. They also had an enjoyable singer there who started the evening with Irish songs, then started doing more current medleys that were sing along-able. The environment is great, the barstools are made for sitting on for a good while (nice and wide and... More

Loads of craft beers and decent pub food. Happy hour is from 4-7pm and there are some good deals. They have metered beer tables that have their own taps and you pay by what you pour.

A group of us travelers visited this establishment on St. Patty's Day this year. The bartenders maybe could have done a better job of hustling to take drink orders, but it wasn't too bad. It had a laid back atmosphere for such a bar. I really enjoyed the tabletop shuffleboard table. I don't get to play much, so playing here... More

Tried the lamb french dip sandwich with Guiness fondue--sounded different. Disappointing. For the money, better choices where you are actually getting a view (of the water) that you are paying for.

The service was very good and the food was good. This may be a little over priced. They did have a children's menu. They had shuffleboard and darts..a fun place for younger and older adults.

Stopped in for a late lunch with the family. Not busy at all. Despite that, service was poor. Workers more interested in socializing with each other rather than assisting customers. Food was mediocre at best. Better places in the area to go.

One of the members in my party sucked a shard of metal through her straw. When she told the bartender the response she got was "Oh. That's awful." The bartender then proceeded to walk away and go take a shot with the other bartenders. This was all while getting light headed due to a gas leak in the building that... More
