Like a neighborhood watering hole

Watched March madness with friends while sitting at the bar. Made a lot of new friends that night! One waitress stood out in the crowd, looked like she had just gotten off work at Hooters and came straight to Harringtons. The guys in our group thought that she looked fine, the girls not so much.

The beer selection was pretty good and the crab cakes were delicious. It wasn't very busy on a Sunday night, so service was fast.

The guys at Gaylord recommended Chicken wings at this joint. They were great. The best chicken wings I have ever had. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We got the food, no cutlery, no napkins and no plates. They did not have air-conditioning on a very warm June evening. Beer was good, but it should have been... More

Excellent food and drink selections. Inside and outside street options, good service. TV's inside for the sports minded. Just a block or two from all hotels.

May 18, 2015. I had the Irish Soda Bread ($4.00), and the Chicken Pot Pie with diced potatoes and root vegetables ($18). I also had a Harp's Beer. The meal was excellent! As the German's say, "Das Essen war Gut!" The food was good. The service was friendly and prompt.

When traveling I liked to visit Irish pubs and restaurants and with the name Harrington I thought this would be a great place. However this is larger then the typical Irish pub without the cozy pub feeling. I was warmly greeted upon entry and was asked if I would like to sit in or outside. As it was a nice... More

We love the National Harbor and thought we would try something new...... We walked by Harrington's and should have kept walking. 7-8 of the wait staff were sitting outside laughing about the condition of the ladies bathroom. We should have turned away! Nope we went inside, waited 6 minutes to be served. The restaurant had only three tables occupied. The... More

We stopped in on Saturday night and enjoyed a selection of brews on tap and in bottles. They also had an enjoyable singer there who started the evening with Irish songs, then started doing more current medleys that were sing along-able. The environment is great, the barstools are made for sitting on for a good while (nice and wide and... More

Loads of craft beers and decent pub food. Happy hour is from 4-7pm and there are some good deals. They have metered beer tables that have their own taps and you pay by what you pour.

A group of us travelers visited this establishment on St. Patty's Day this year. The bartenders maybe could have done a better job of hustling to take drink orders, but it wasn't too bad. It had a laid back atmosphere for such a bar. I really enjoyed the tabletop shuffleboard table. I don't get to play much, so playing here... More
