Good food & great service

Yesterday was my 2nd time at this restaurant. Both times, I was satisfied with my food as well as the service. But on this visit, I had a chance to try the Caramel Apple Mojito and it was great! It is a bit overpriced but then again, it's the National Harbor where everything is overpriced. I... read more

They accommodated our extended family of 15 which was helpful. The waiter had a canned speech for his introduction, and for each item he reviewed. Food took an extremely long time to come, orders weren't correct, and disorganized delivery. Not a place I would recommend - overpriced and slow

We ate at McLoone's Pier House on the final night of a five day stay in National Harbor. Of all the restaurants where we ate in National Harbor, this one was the best. Everything was great at this restaurant -- the portions were huge, the prices were reasonable, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. This restaurant overlooks... More

Dinner here was fine not exceptional - Hubby had the salmon which he enjoyed. I had the sampler -- if you read the menu and are thinking it may be too much food for you don't worry it is NOT. Salmon was about 2.5 in long and 1 in. wide... literally 2 bite -3 bites at the most. 2 pieces... More

When here to celebrate a birthday. We had a large party (13). So I expected a long wait for a table and slower service. It didn't expect a seafood restaurant to run out of calamari! Oddly enough after I was told they ran out. My friend noticed another table getting you guessed it calamari. Other than the service kinks, the... More

On a very warm spring evening the Pier House was a nice way to spend part of the evening. The price for main course was a bit pricey but probably typical of the restaurants in the area. The nicoise salad was both reasonably priced and fantastic. It was more than enough for a meal with two large rare pieces of... More

I made a 7:00 PM reservation. I've eaten at this McLoone's before and at several in NJ and have always liked the food. Arrived at 7:00 and was told there was a 30 minute wait inside or we could sit outside with no wait. It was a beautiful evening and the restaurant has a great view of the Potomac, so... More

What started as a lovely Saturday evening soon deteriorated! There was an hour wait for a table and I was a single eater therefore I was able to sit at the bar. I was waited on quickly with water and then I asked to be recommend a signature dish. Warm crab dip was recommended so I agreed with the waiter.... More

Dropped in w/ guys from the office. We passed on two other places because of the lines. We sat down fairly quickly, but once our order was in we waited an interminable long time for our lunch. We were gone from work much too long.
