I had arranged to meet a colleague here for some light food and to catch up on things. Met around 1:30pm, greeter was fine and place was rather empty. I ordered the Crab Cake appetizer and my friend ordered shrimp cocktail. I enjoyed the crab cake. I'm from Maryland and I've had the finest crab... read more

If possible, keep looking when in National Harbor. The décor needs updating, the staff overwhelmed, and dishes were inconsistent. Overall our group of 10 had an enjoyable time looking out on the Potomac and sipping cocktails. At least the price is low enough to warrant the experience.

Let's go chronological. Upon checking in for our reservation, we were crammed upon against a large table that had been rearranged and placed too close to ours. Our table was not properly set -- only two sets of napkins and silverware for our party of three, and no drink lists (which were visible on other pre-set tables). My wife and... More

I ate at McLoone's Pier House while attending a conference at the Gaylord Hotel. I ate at the bar, and the bartender could have been friendlier. He seemed a little annoyed that I wanted to order food that was not on the Happy Hour menu. I ordered the Lobster Risotto, which was good. It had a decent amount of lobster... More

We were here for a work conference and we really enjoyed the nice dinner!! From appetizers, to main food, to cocktails, everything was good. Service was very attentive and food came quick too! We also enjoyed the live music, was it relaxing!!

I was staying at the Gaylord for a convention and this place was a short walk away. We went for dinner on a slow night. Poor service and unremarkable food. There are better alternatives nearby.

Nice atmosphere with live music and views of the water but thought both our food and service was pretty average. Might stop at the bar for a drink but probably won't go back for dinner.

If you ever visit National Harbor you have to try this place, the food is delicious! I think this is the best restaurant at the harbor and one of the best seafood restaurants in the area, yes it's a little pricey but great food, drinks, ambiance and service. Worth every penny!

We went as part of a group. The service was incredibly slow, it took us an hour and a half to get our food and then it was brought out plate by plate. When we asked for the bill, it took forever and then we received one bill for the group even though we asked for individual checks. A few... More

We have been to McLoone's about 4 other times and enjoyed ourselves, so we decided to go again. I'm so sorry we wasted our time and money. Not sure if it has gone downhill, or just a bad day. We WON'T be going back, there are too many other choices to "settle". The service was awful. We really thought we... More
