Confused by the name

Although it's a Mandarin, it's not Chinese food. If you want sushi and sake, this is your place. The staff are very friendly and the food was really good. We were able to walk in but it did start to get crowded as we were leaving.

No wonton soup? That was the first surprise. We consider ourselves aficionados of Chinese food, but there were lots of unfamiliar dishes on this menu. We got National Harbour fried rice with loads of seafood and veggies in brown rice. Also delicious was Land Sea and Sky with huge shrimp, pork, beef, and veggies in an edible basket. The place... You’ll have a grand time in this large, very well appointed restaurant. Knowledgeable staff, and service was good. Sushi was fine, however some other entrees where overdone. Group of 6 of us had a wonderful time in an oversized round booth, meant to make you feel like a VIP. Priced to impress. Foodies may want to choose wisely.

Oh my gosh was this a delightful surprise! The menu is extensive offering unusual choices with a Mandarin twist. Service was very attentive and offered great suggestions. Starting out with hot towels was a nice touch. The duck choices were hard to chose between but was not disappointed with my choice. You could order anything from small plates to regular... More

had dinner one night, wasn't too hungry so went with their "small plates". the lamb chops were incredible, perfectly cooked, well seasoned. Sushi also very good, though not particularly memorable. Very interesting decor

We had a free night while attending a conference at The Gaylord and chose to eat here based on recommendations from colleagues that dined here earlier in the week - and all 12 were very satisfied. Menu provides great food & beverage variety, prices are reasonable and service is very prompt. The restaurant is pretty cool, too - three stories... More

Honestly, we were in a great mood on a little getaway for a birthday, so perhaps that helped us have a great time. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere! The service was prompt without being overbearing. The food came quickly and was piping hot and delicious. I can't wait to return and try it again.

This visit was on Valentines day 2015 so maybe this is the reason for the extraordinarily slow service. The flavor of the food was really good BUT two entrees ordered were delivered to our table luke warm. The maitre d was phenomenal apologetic and accommodating. Had it not been for him my rating would not have been as high. Although... More

Very personal service (hot towels for your hands before and after lunch) with fresh, hot food. Delicious hot and sour soup followed by the crispy beef which was also excellent. Nice view from the second story. Easy access to/from the convention center with fast enough service to get you back to your workshops within 1:15 for lunch for 5. Good... More
