A quick meal at a convention

How do you feed a lot of hungry convention attendees in a short space of time? Pienza tries to answer that question for delegates stranded at the Gaylord center at National Harbor. They run a lunch buffet, with two options: full range or "soup and salad" for people who want more than a sandwich... read more

I was staying at the Gaylord for a conference, and needed breakfast early one morning and decided to check out the only breakfast buffet at the Gaylord. I opted for the cheapest breakfast buffet available- the continental breakfast at $16.95. This included some fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, granola, cereal, and a few pastries. These items are what most hotels serve for... More

Omelet bar very good value $20. Full breakfast for under $20. Not crowded if you arrive before 9 a.m. Patio type seating in the atrium of the Gaylord National Hotel. Overall decent food and service.

Pre made instant oatmeal. Stale pastry. Overpriced food you would get for free at any other hotel that offers free breakfast.

We went here 2 times in a week for their breakfast buffet. Had everything! A real treat! My grandson loved the pancakes. Loved the scrambled eggs and bacon. Lovely fresh fruit and granola.

Don't go when you're in a hurry, but if you're not, you will enjoy it. The seating is in the atrium of the Gaylord Conference Center, so it's not exactly a quiet, out of the way place. However, breakfast was really good and there were lots of choices. We opted for the buffet breakfast which included an omelet station with... More

I ate breakfast here everyday morning during my five day stay at the Gaylord. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety. The dining experience was great. You eat inside the huge Gaylord atrium surrounded by trees and a garden. The staff was nice and the service was very good. My only complaint that it is insanely... More

We stopped here for breakfast after an overnight stay at the Gaylord National Harbor. We are early risers so we were pretty early to the restaurant and didn't have much competition for tables. We decided to have a portion of the breakfast buffet and hubby and I each had an omelet made to order. We're picky about having our eggs... More
