Good Sports Bar for the Gaylord National Harbor

This place is a staple in the Gaylord hotel, but you can tell the staff knows that they will be busy regardless of the night. I sat in the bar area with friends during my recent visit. Considering they had a convention in the hotel, I was amazed they appeared to be understaffed. One of the bartenders gave us an attitude. He was very rude to my mother and my sister but thankfully another one stepped in to serve us. Ridiculous! Otherwise, our experience was... More

just had apps and drinks. Wait staff took forever getting around to serving drinks. But otherwise, great atmosphere and drinks.

We had several of the appetizers and the waiter was very helpful in choosing a beer. Both were delicious.

This place knows they have a captive audience due to the resort nature of the hotel. The food was overpriced and very average taste - I'd recommend eating elsewhere.

Great looking modern sports bar. Good selection of craft beer, good food and food selection, decent prices. Service can be a bit slow when busy

Quick service. Ordered the crab cake meal. $30 for one crab cake seems a bit steep, but it was pretty good. Also had the burger on another occasion. Also good. If you want to watch sports, this is the place for you. Also has a surprising amount of seating, so wait is less likely to be an issue. I was... More

National Pastime is a typical sports bar. Compared to many of the other National Harbor restaurants where prices are highly inflated, National Pastime is less likely to break the bank. We had a small wait because of all of the convention guests at the Gaylord. But once we were seated, service was quick and friendly. The serving sizes were large... More

Food and atmosphere was great. The only negative I would say is that the kids meals are very expensive and not really kid approved. Great beer selection and huge amount of TV's to watch sports!

Hubby and I went there for lunch. Fairly limited menu. Hubs chose a lamb burger. Waited over 30 minutes without the server even apologizing for the wait. She sauntered around doing who knows what. When we flagged her down to ask about the food she said they were just busy. I figured they were chasing down the lamb... The guy... More
