Great Quality Food - Slow Service

We are big fans of the Smithville Inn, but one night we decided to try Fred and Ethel's. It was a Saturday night and was crowded, but we got a table quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it was very noisy, almost hard to carry on a conversation. The food was outstanding, but it took a long... read more

My boyfriend and I always have dinner here whenever we are in Smithville! The place is great; the dining room is large enough that the tavern atmosphere doesn't get overwhelming! We have never had food that we didn't like, and my man is a craft beer drinker and he really enjoys their selection. We always order the Guinness nachos (but... More

I have eaten here many times, the food is good and the service is usually great. Unfortunately the last time I was here it was crowded and the service was not good. I ordered the roast turkey dinner and it came to me barely lukewarm. This was after at least a half hour wait. Our server was not very attentive.... More

I have booked my wedding and reception here because I just love this place. It's simple yet elegant. The bar when you walk in is so cool looking. Their food is great as well is the staff. Its a wonderful restaurant. The banquet room is great for a small wedding and there is a giant fire place. I can't wait... More

Set in Historic Smithville, this restaurant draws quite a crowd on weekends. We visited on Tuesday night, when they are quite a bit slower. The inside of the restaurant is very quaint. The large span of windows provides an excellent view of the town of Smithville. There is no "bad" seat in this restaurant. Food is good, service is good.... More

The food and atmosphere is great. This is the 2nd time me and my coworkers have been here and can say that both times we were all satisfied with the service and the food. They have a fantastic selection of craft beers, which as geologists we love. However, both times we have been here there have been issues with getting... More

The food and atmosphere is great. Also, the staff & the music. We enjoy going there every year, especially for our anniversary & the Irish Fest. Also, Christmas.

I am often here for business and family stops. In the historic Smithville so a sure stop for a bite to eat. A large menu with many things for every food fancy. Big bar and they have put thought into beer selection including some craft beer. The have a few different rooms of you are thinking of a private party.
