We stopped for a quick lunch and was more then surprised at the quality of the food! Pea soup was excellent. I had the tavern burger while my friend had the classic. Service was good. Would eat here regularly if I lived close by!

Stopped on a whim. Glad that we did. Buffalo chicken wontons as an app were very good. The crab bisque soup was tremendous, and the french onion was among the best we have ever had. The chicken salad was packed with chicken. The mountain of meatloaf wasvto die for. The serving sizes were more than adequate, and the prices were... More

We are lucky to live within walking distance to Smithville Village and Fred and Ethel's is a pub/restaurant there. Last night we actually drove over because it's been a bit humid and this turned out to be a good decision because it started to pour suddenly! It was Labor Day and the Village itself was quiet, only a few couples... More

We ate here again on a recent return trip to the Stockton Seaview Resort. It's always crowded on weekend regardless of when you are there, but you can easily eat at the bar. Worth going to even if you are passing through on route to Atlantic City.

A wonderful location to eat in the midst of the beautiful Smithville Inn. The food was very good, and the price was great.

This place is one of our favorites!. From the time you walk in to the time you leave. From the appetizers ( chicken quesadillas there are my favorite) which they have a very nice selection , and my daughters just tried their burgers and said they were very good. Fred and Ethel's is a very family oriented place from the... More

A great place to stop in and relax for awhile. Although we just sat at the bar, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Always a crowd so be prepared to wait on a busy day!
