For breakfast or lunch, it doesn't get any better than Shea's. It might lack the colonial ambiance of Smithville Bakery or Sunryser, but the food and friendly service is unbeatable.

We drove a half hour on the recommendation of a friend and we will definitely make the drive again. My husband, who is a big eater, had the caramel apple stuffed French toast! It was a very large portion of several pieces of stuffed French toast, covered with warm apple filling, topped with homemade whipped cream and completed with caramel... More

We took this as a good sign when we had to wait for 10 minutes for a table on a Monday morning at 11. Definitely worth the wait. The specials are wonderful. I had the Resolution egg white omelet with roasted broccoli, turkey bacon, and smoked gouda cheese, served with homefries and homemade biscuit. Breakfast served all day and lunch... More

We often stop here before or after we visit Forsythe Wildlife Refuge which is "down the street" from Shea's. You'll be greeted by the owner, who is very personable and humorous. The menu is vast and the servings massive. They have quite a few specialty french toasts and pancakes which are absolutely sinful. The pancakes are a tad heavy making... More

My wife recently went here with her friends, who go all over monthly for dining. She couldn't wait to bring me here, and I' so glad she did! A little wait that was so rewarding it was incredible that such good food and atmosphere was in so small a place. Lou, the owner was lively and accommodating. Seemed to be... More

I drove from AC for breakfast. The atmosphere is great!!! Small town feel, folks know each other and friendly staff. The food was ok. Much better than some of the casino breakfasts. I think you should try it if you are in the area.

Shea's has grown in reputation and therefore in crowds. It use to be for locals but no more. You'll see cars from out of State in the parking lot and you almost always have to wait. Lou and family have taken a good place and made it the best in Southern New Jersey. I only wish they hadn't done such... More

This is a great restaurant open for breakfast and lunch only. Every local person knows of it and raves about the food. There is always a line outside, even in winter. The prices are great and it seems they do not have a bad choice on the menu. The owner is always asking guests how they liked the place and... More
