ALWAYS worth the wait

Shea's is hands-down my favorite breakfast spot. The wait does indeed get lengthy, but this is due to the small size of the restaurant. To be honest, however, the experience would not be the same if it was any bigger. They have such a great flow of service. When the place is packed (always) you do... read more

As previously mentioned there is a very long wait if you do not get there super early, but the food is great. I do hope they move to a bigger place though. The staff is so friendly, the owner comes around and chats and jokes around. It is very nice to have a nice small hometown vibe in such an... More

The portions are quite large which is great except for one small problem... The food is not any good! Everything is fake from the name right down to the disgusting margarine and the corn syrup for the pancakes. The menu days the pancake syrup is maple syrup but it isn't. When I asked for maple syrup the waitress told me... More

I used to be able to pop in for breakfast any time, but it's reputation for delicious food and plenty of it has spread beyond the township boundaries, and now there's always a wait. Whether breakfast or lunch, your meal it's prepared exactly the way you want it, and owner Lou makes sure you leave satisfied, satiated and smiling. The... More

Shea's is a small, bare bones cafe. The ambiance isn't in the decor but rather the friendly, you're family here, attitude. Try the strawberry cheese cake pancakes or the scapple cooked to crispy perfection. You'll be glad you waited.

What an amazing find! One of the BEST breakfasts or brunch places we have found in the area. Shea's is a small little place located in the corner of a small strip of businesses in Galloway, NJ, just a few minutes or 10 right outside of Atlantic City. This family owned business is a busy little place which will likely... More

Shea's was by far the best place we ate at during our visit to New Jersey. We came back 3 times during our visit. The food was exceptional and the service was first class. You will have to wait a while to eat here. It is very popular with the locals. I promise you it is worth the wait.

This establishment is very popular with the locals and I can see why. The menu has plenty to choose from and the items are priced reasonable. Lunchtime crowd was there but we had no problems. I do understand that breakfast time can be crowded but not slow to serve.

I will travel an hour away to go here for breakfast. I will get up early. And I will wait to get in. That is how good the food is. Lou the owner is super friendly and makes a point to call you by name. They have customer service down to a science here and the food- oh the food!... More

Visited on a recent Monday morning. I was impressed with the timely manner that they served the coffee.,I ordered the eggs Benedict, the eggs were poached nicely but the dish was served cold.,I guess that was due to the fact that restaurant itself was cold. The Hollandaise sauce was blan, and I am a big fan of Hollandaise. I would... More
