Stopped into the rustic cafe for a quick lunch and we were surprised by the quality of the food and hospitality with which met us there. A gorgeous beef and veg soup and delicious toasted special served by three ladies who showed genuine friendliness and welcome. Super spot

Stopped in for lunch after a lovely time in the gardens of Lismore Castle. Proprietress let me know where the nearest ATM was, and gave my wife a complementary coffee and a piece of cake while she waited for me to return. It is a great sandwich place. Had a great Ham, cheese and coleslaw sandwich panini with a wonderful... More

food soaked in grease and overcooked ,proprietor overbearing and rude. max rating 1 out of 10.i must say it gave a somewhat negative impression of what is otherwise a wonderful town.

There's not much choice in lismore in a Sunday, the cafe looks welcoming enough but it's narrow and very dark at the back. We just wanted coffee which came with lovely free taster biscuit, and a great iced bun for junior but the coffee was quite possibly the worst I have ever tasted. It had a weak and burnt back... More

In September 2013 we took a day trip to Lismore, Waterford. it was my first time there and we went and saw the beautiful Lismore Castle. We also visited St. Carthage's cathedral which was just absolutely wonderful. My husband and I spent ages walking around it and reading the different plaques erected to the memory of various people. Afterwards we... More

What an absolute treasure of a cafe. Proper service for tea and a sandwich. Ladies on service went the extra mile to satisfy the kids and we will return.

Popped in for two takeaway coffees. Service was with a smile and came with a free small slice of cake. Small things which cost nothing, but things that make a difference. People running this place understand customer service. I will go back of course.
