This cafe provided many options, the food was great and the service was amazing. The two women who were running the shop made us feel like home. This is a definite must stop!
We love Lismore and always stop there on our trips to Ireland...it was lunchtime - the Rustic Cafe looked welcoming, so we walked in. It was raining outside and snug as a bug inside. The sisters that run this establishment are great compliments to each other - and a great asset to Lismore. Our soup and sandwiches were great, and...

I frequent the Rustic quite often when working in the area. You would be hard pushed to find a more welcoming host than Claire. Sandwiches stuffed with filling, a lovely warm welcome and the best soup to be found anywhere in Ireland, perfect for a cold winter day or a wet summer one!
the owners were absolutely charming! the sandwiches were just what we needed after a beautiful drive over the mountain. Wouldn't have come upon this place if we had stayed on the motorway. What a delight!
I recently visited Lismore for my birthday and found an absolute gem nestled on it's high street. It is called the Rustic Cafe and is run by the most charming staff. The owner was adorable - greeted us and was chatty. Scones, butter, jam, whipped cream and coffee all served on beautiful china; I was in heaven! There was a photo on the wall of the owner with Fred Astaire, who frequented the Lismore Castle I was told. Highly recommend stopping here.
Cosy interior with great coffee and toasties. Owner is the Oracle - everything you need to know about Lismore. Her own life is even more fascinating - if you visit when it's not too busy, she might reveal it. Kindly gave us free choc biscuits!
Great food and got complimentary chocolate biscuit cake which was to die for!
We were walking up the street to see if we could find somewhere to have a nice coffee and cake or something, when we came across this cafe. The lady who served us was a real character, full of chat and laughter which made us feel very welcome. We had lovely coffee and cake(with cream and ice-cream-all the calories)!!! All...
