We absolutely love this place and have visited over the past year for a number of different occasions / reason. Most seems to be home cooked produce and good quality my only criticism is that sometimes some of the dishes miss the mark. just a small thing but some dishes either don't have enough flavour or sauce and some have... We visited here for the Sunday carvery with some friends and visitors from Australia. What a lovely place. the food was very good was very much enjoyed by all. very large portions. the meat was very tender and succulent. We all agreed however that the star players at this place are the staff. Very rarely do you come across such... More

We would highly recommend this restaurant. Its food is of such high quality! Service is ok, friendly but could be improved. However food and atmosphere wise its perfect. It's our favourite restaurant - try the lamb burger! Its amazing. Their sunday cavery is also amazing, good value for money too. Overall 5*!

Five of us went for a meal here on Sunday we were a little bit wary as the last few times we ate here the food wasn't as good as it had been. We had a range of meals from Sunday Lunch to Salads the meat on the Sunday Lunch was good quality and there was plenty. The ploughman's and... More

We first found out about the South Causey Inn when my niece got married there 3 years ago..I truly love visiting this restaurant, the latest visit being Friday 20th June 2014. As usual the meal was excellent. We just had the special two course meal for £7.95. There is a good choice and for the price it is good value... More
