Excellent food, to restaurant standard (much better than any "pub grub") with very friendly and attentive staff. A really enjoyable and good quality meal. Highly recommended.

Finished work at home just after lunch last Sunday. Lets go the New Malton for a late lunch. Arrived about 2.30. Once again the food was excellent and we all enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon whilst enjoying good food accompanied with a nice glass of red wine and a pint

Enjoyed a family meal in The New Malton. The food was excellent and well presented but the portion size was not as big as I would have liked. A good selection of ales were also available. Perhaps a little overpriced for what you get but the whole party enjoyed the experience. I would certainly return.

My wife and I visited the Thursday before Easter and had an excellent meal. I had sea bass and the wife had lamb both meals were fantastic. The staff are attentive without being fussy, the meals are great value and they serve great beer as well. All in all a fantastic experience.
