Description: WelcomeWhether you've something to celebrate, are at the end of a hard day's walking in the hills, or simply fancy a break from cooking at home, it is our wish at Anderson's that you all feel welcome. Forget pretence, the atmosphere here is relaxed and informal, so sit back, switch off, and savour the pleasure of great food and drink. Local Produce At Anderson's we are committed to using local Scottish produce when it is in season, so needless to say, our menu changes each month, along with our daily specials. Each dish is lovingly prepared and bought together in such a way as to bring out the very best of truly great, fresh ingredients. Although our menu is creative, our aim is simple, to present you with food that we are confident you will enjoy, and that tastes fantastic.Family Friendly The whole family is welcome at Anderson's, and it is important to us that everyone can tuck into something they will enjoy. So for children we can either offer half portions of anything on the menu, or for specific likes or dislikes, please feel comfortable to say, and the chef will be happy to come up with something to suit- within reason! Similarly please make us aware of any special dietary requirements you may have.“It’s great to see a restaurant like Andersons opening up in Boat of Garten. Owners Steve and Claire have put a huge amount of thought and effort into their set up, and their intended philosophy of utilizing the best of Scottish produce should be a real boost to the local restaurant scene. I wish them every success for the future.” Nick Nairn

Whenever my wife and I are golfing in Boat of Garten we have dinner in Anderson's restaurant. They have an excellent reasonably priced menu. Their service is second to none. My favorite is Filet steak. Should you be on vacation in this area I recommend that you dine at Anderson's restaurant.

We visited Anderson's in July with 2 seniors, 2 kids and 2 adults. The staff were courteous in fitting us in at short notice and in looking after the kids so well. The menu constantly changes, and the selection is good. Expect great tasting food, with excellent presentation and great sauces. Appetizers we had Game Terrine and the Wild Mushroom... More

Everything about Andersons is just right. The food is superb, the service is great and the prices are fair. Many thanks to Steve and the team for two more wonderful dining experiences and for being so helpful with dietary restrictions. Can't wait to go back in August.

My partner and I have eaten here several time and always had a nice evening. The food is always of a good standard and reasonably priced, it is popular but always feels intimate, without a hint of over crowding. Give Anderson's a try, there are very few restaurants in the area of this standard.

Visited Anderson's for our 4th time. Excellent value for money - food and wine. This was our second visit on 'pie night' I had the venison pie which was very good, my husband had the chicken and bacon, also very good, but our daughter had the vegetable curry pie which was the star of the show! Really excellent. Followed by... More

Third year holidaying in Boat of Garten with wife and children and enjoyed as usual my visit to this restaurant.Service and food quality excellent as usual. Imaginative and well presented food. Only criticism is that as a vegetarian there was only one starter option (and maybe a soup) and one main course option so no real choice exercised other than... More

Hello, Thank you so much for your review of our restaurant. Really happy that you enjoyed dining with us. Please, if you visit again, do not heitate to ask a member of staff for more veggie options, there are always alternatives I can provide. I can normally offer a couple extra starter and main options, no problem what so ever.... More

We popped in for one of the chef's delicious lunches. The individual venison pie was incredibly tasty. The Scots certainly know how to cook this meat perfectly. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and meringue sundae went down a treat. For under £11 each, it was great value. Can't wait for the evening a la carte!

Good service, good food. Landed on a very tasty pie night which was great and there was good local beer to accompany.
