We went on a busy Saturday night but still got great food and service. Our waiter spoke enough English to help us out and we got wonderful pasta including a ravioli with gorgonzola in a Pear Sauce...oh, my! We'll be back here next time

Charming room and charming service. We had lunch, starting with bruschetta; one tomato and the other truffle. First courses of pasta with porcini and polenta with tomato sauce and sausage. When we left towards 2pm there was a queue waiting outside! Those serving were very helpful. Lovely homemade biscuits with dried small grapes were given to us from an attractive... More

Delicious food, Great service which was knowledgeable and helpful, excellent wine list. the standout items were a chestnut pasta and slow cooked rabbit, both of which were fabulous and memorable, and a pork stinko which was beautifully cooked. Lovely greens as accompaniment. Also recall ravioli with pear and gorgonzola which we enjoyed.Great atmosphere and liked it so much that returned... More

Pure luck took us to the town of Pescocostanzo, and we are so glad we made the decision to come back for lunch. The town is quite unique and seems way off the mainstream tourist trail. We arrived at the restaurant at around 1pm on a sunday. Fortunately for us they had just one table for two left. There are... More

By chance we chose to eat here as we were sheltering from an unexpected downpour. What Luck! Delightful waitress who was very keen to practice speaking English, served us with charm and care. The food was delicious Ravioli with goats cheese and a pear sauce truly memorable. The restaurant was cosy with a friendly ambience. Service was quite quick, and... More

What a classic Abruzzi restaurant. Delicious food, and very kind service topped off an extraordinary visit to this crazy, beautiful hilltop town that popped out of nowhere while driving through the Abruzzi hills.

We turned up on a quiet evening and had a lovely meal in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I like the rather fussy, busy decor, but imagine it is not to everyone's taste, and can imagine that the dining room could get noisy and somewhat chaotic on a busy evening. The service began very attentively (maybe a little over the top)... More

Ristorante da Paolino - a huge surprise in our own back yard. My husband and I own a home in Abruzzo, and over the past 16 years have eaten many beautiful meals in lovely places- Da Paolino surpasses them all. Cozy and inviting, lovely non invasive service. The pastas were tender and flavorful- especially the tagliolini with truffles- the full... More

This was probably the best dining experience we've ever had. We arrived at the restaurant when they opened at 8 PM and finished at 10:30 PM. The food was superb, as was the service and attention, and the price was very reasonable.
