Lovely diner

We had a nice diner at Zanzibar. Fresh tuna was perfectly prepared. The kids loved their kids menu. Price was at the higher side, but food and service was good.

Great food. Raw tuna done in three ways, local crab and the catch of the day were a perfect dinner. The service too. If you're in town and wish to go out on the evening this is probably the only lively place you'll find.

Port Marin is a bit of a tired dreary place but supper in the Zanzibar certainly cheered us up! Excellent professional staff. Good food all round. Reasonable wine. French with Caribbean influences.

Overlooking the Marina from the upstairs area was a great view. We were taken by our friends who moor a boat in the marina who are regulars which was a recommendation itself! The food was local and fresh. Not a huge menu, but good variety between seafood, meat, pasta etc. The scallops were superb. Good selection of wines. Personal service... More

My wife and I had lunch here after travelling from Trois Islet, and it was wonderful. Upon arrival, we greeted warmly, the service was great, the food was wondeful and the ambiance was second to none. There were a number of local business people dining while we dined, which is always a good sign. I had the local fish of... More

My husband and I had our main meal of the day at lunch at Le Zanzibar. I had the fish of the day, which was a very nicely sauced Dorade with a potato in its skin in a special presentation. Our shared starter was a plate of creole boudin that had very good flavor, served with light salad on the... More

Staff was great, excellent English speaking. Food was so so. Decor was updated with some cost bench seats at some tables.

I liked the quality of the food, the service, the atmosphere and the location. The people working, running the place and the music did not make me feel like you were in the Caraibes but the food and the decor helped.

Had lunch at Zanzibar. Lovely view of the bay and location is right across from the beach. We had the lambi as well as the shrimp. It was just wonderful. The sauces that accompanied the meal were delicate well balanced and superb! I would come back again and try something else. Nice features were that we were offered an English... More
