Pleasantly surprised

Went here on the recommendation of Laura from Dave Wilson Property Management. This doesn't look for much from the outside and the decor is very much basic Greek taverna. There was no menus but the waiter (possibly a family member) tells you everything they have for you to choose. We were surprised... read more

A typically Mezi type restaurant run by two brothers , their wives and their mum and dad. Excellent service and polite. We were left outside late one evening alone and they were very insistant that we join them inside as they were watching football. Very traditional. You are not guaranteed to get in though if you can its well worth... More

As others have mentioned there is no menu in the Peyia Tavern. However when the young waiter came to take our order he asked us (fairly abruptly) what we wanted, without bothering to tell us what was available! Throughout the transaction he had a slightly offended air and after bringing us our wine and food, ignored us for the rest... More

If you want an authentic meze you won't find any better than this . Don't eat too much during the day as it keeps coming , house wine very palatable . Cheap as chips , we always have at least one visit every time we are in paphos . Tastiest chicken ever .
