This place may be a little pricer than some of the other eateries in Peyia but you get what you pay for and being served amazing food in a gorgeous little homely and querky tavern, makes this place definitely value for money (and for those who still grumble, still much cheaper than any UK equivalent!). We have had two fantastic... More

A very warm welcome with Greek music in the back ground with traditional taverna rustic feel with a few old items to talk about. The food was plenty so be prepared , the chef was excellent and the Dancing potatoes as they were called were gorgeous ... We had taken our grandson who was treated so very well ..child friendly...... More

Went a year or so ago and it was very nice - they tried hard and had a guy outside cooking the BBQ - place has been refurbished and is more about a museum and art than food and being a restaurant - its definitely gone backwards always looks empty and not worth a visit with the other restaurants in... This was first dining experience in Cyprus and by far the best. The food was home cooked and fresh. The owner does not pretend to be anything other that she is , a good cook and passionate artist. I felt welcomed and cared for from the moment I entered the premises . I have read the reviews and can't understand... More

We have been going here for approx. 5 years every time the food is good. We agree the lady is a bit dotty but that is "authentic Cyprus". We even call it the "Mad Womans" there is always plenty of food if you are a wine buff you have problems it's Red,White & Rose take your pick.Try it you will... More

Visited as a couple on two occasions and was very content with the service, food and overall cost. Mixed meat BBQ was plentiful, no problems with type of meat, cuts of meat or anything else; the accompanying salad was fresh, tasty and the only time I have ever eaten beetroot - it was yummy! The chef serves up her own... More

I always come here when I visit my expat parents. It never disappoints - fresh, quality ingredients superbly served and presented. Village salad - with a few imaginative seasonal additions - followed by lovely fresh seabream was a fantastic meal - enhanced by the lovely staff and traditional, tasteful surroundings. It's a shame there are not more authentic tavernas like... More

Went there for a dinner with family. We had Kleftiko, kebabs and Sheftalia. Food was cooked good and the service was friendly. Plus for Sheftalias, minus for somewhat noisy location.

We first visited 3 years ago, everything was so nice, very artistic and thoughtful presentation of every course, you could tell chef was the artist. So we ignored the bad reviews and took 5 of our very good friends with us in june this year 2014. I have to say the food was awful, presentation was no better than a... More
