Quirky and entertaining

Originally, we were just going to check the menu, but were not given a chance, as we were swept inside by the owner. We were followed in by the evening's entertainment (a couple on sax and jazz vocals), who kindly handed out various percussion instruments for us to use as the meal progressed. As... read more

Nine of us visited this Restaurant, which looks lovely and authentically Cypriot from the outside. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the evening. We received some extremely strange dishes, none of which were particularly edible. The salad comprised mostly a cooked white cabbage with some very long spring onions and various other leaves. The pasta with blue cheese sauce had... More

Everything - with one small exception - about the food here is generous. We loved the free home made garlic bread wrapped round a spear of rosemary; the free veg platter with fried courgette flowers and sweet corn amongst other veg; the enormous salads with tapenade and dips. OK the 'dancing potatoes'don' t quite live up to their publicity but... More

The saxophone music is what drew us in, but sadly I did not think the food was anything more than average. The 'dancing potatoes' were potato wedges that needed more cooking and seasoning. The meat was fine and fresh, just not somewhere I would go again. The art is odd and not a museum.

Having read other reviews and having it recommended we decided to give it a go. On arrival apart from two gentleman eating it was empty, undeterred we were given a table outside. The menu isn't extensive but we opted for the pork chop and chicken kebab after discussions with the lady owner. Drinks ordered and along came a huge salad,... More

We weren't sure about trying this place for food, but nobody should hesitate. We chose the fish meze and enjoyed every single part. Started with freshly baked rosemary bread (wow!), served with lots of very fresh veg. And dips including the usual sort of salads but also beans, beetroot, radish and more. This was followed by bream cooked in its... More
