Consistently Excellent

You never know what will be on the menu as the owner is always producing new and 'different' menus. Food is always absolutely 'AMAZING' full of lots of flavour and large portions. Arrive early to make sure you can get a table as you can't pre book. If in Luz this restaurant is not to be missed.

This is our sixth visit to Luz and our millionth to Chicca's! Our host was her usual extraordinary self - nothing was ever too much trouble and you are made to feel like the most important customer in the world. The food, exquisite as always - clean, tasty, different. I cannot think of any other restaurant in the world that... More

This restaurant was recommended and we weren't disappointed. Friendly service, different tasty food and a very relaxed atmosphere. Loved it and would highly recommend. Not open on Saturdays or Sunday's but open from 5 pm the rest of the week.

We have been visiting Chicca since it opened 9 years ago and can honestly say the food remains consistently excellent every time we visit. The owner makes you welcome and provides a wonderful eating experience for all. A must visit when in luz, but ensure you arrive early to avoid disappointment. We'll definitely be back again.

We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Lagos last week. I could have eaten here every evening the food was amazing and the lasagne was the best one I have ever had! The meals are well presented with a great choice of salad- lots of different flavours and of a very high standard. The puddings are to die for... More

Yesterday evening we had a great dinner at Chicca's. After eating at serval restaurants in Luz, i can easily say that Chicca's is the best restaurant in town. Food: I can recommend the Duck, it was brilliantly prepared. Service: The hostess was very friendly and really took the time. Cheers , Maurits

What a taste experience! Shared a tasting plate of dips and especially savoured that of the white beans which just pipped one of my table mates' favourite of the sun dried tomatoes. So many side dishes of vegetables and pulses to enjoy with a delicious and more than substantial serve of pumpkin, mascarpone and sage tart. Having a taste of... More

Chicca's is full of surprises. You cannot book so it pays to arrive early or guess when the first arrivals will have finished. The menu changes continually but is always very good. The atmosphere verges on the frenetic - stimulating but not the place for a quiet evening meal. The small room, packed with people enjoying themselves, is very noisy.

Haven't been in Luz for a long time and we revisited Chiccas. Francesca was away in Lisbon the night we visited and we did miss her enthusiastic descriptions on what went into each dish! However the restaurant itself has moved on a lot in the last three years, the decor and ambience is far more in keeping with the top... More
