Ate at Chicca's two or three times while on holiday. The atmosphere is very cosy and inviting. Very, very delicious food. My only complaint would be that there was far too much of it. Sounds like a silly complaint, but because it was so tasty, we all ate more than we should have! Beware! :)

The basics done really well and some extra touches were out of the top drawer. Really friendly service. House red and white were delicious. Tempura Prawns were the best thing I ate all week. Too full for puddings but they looked amazing.

This restaurant has atmosphere, a fantastically passionate host but most importantly beautiful food. The menu is small but offers something for everyone. Beautiful steak, salads, quiches and deserts, all home made. Thoroughly recommended.

Over a year since I ate at Chicca's. It was everything I remember and better. The morning after I am still upset about only being able to have 2 of the dozen or so pudds. Got there about 7.30. Place heaving but got a table in 15 mins or so. It was worth the wait. Sitting outside reading the menu... More

Well what a beautiful meal we had here. The first visit was just myself and a friend, everything was so nice we had three courses. The second visit we returned as a group of 9. I can highly recommend the large lasagne as a main and the white chocolate and raspberry shortcake as desert. We also ate the antipasti, lemon... More

When staying in Praia da Luz, a visit to Chicca's is an absolute must! The food quality is absolutely exceptional along with the atmosphere, service and overall energy that seems to flow from the host through to her guests! No bookings taken so get there early to avoid a wait although would assure you if you do have to wait... More

Trip Advisor reviewers have this place just right. Food is excellent and all freshly made resulting in a slightly limited menu but offering a different choice from others in town. The place is very small. 50 ish chairs in a single dining room however go with the flow and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner is no dragon (see Terrible reviews)... More

We visited 3 times because the food, service & atmosphere was superb. Chicca and her girls are warm & friendly. The lasagne & salad are a must try as are the desserts. The best in luz perfect for families & couples. Will definitely visit again.

Our visit to Chicca's was an experience. It's small. Too many tables in too little space, but it's clearly popular. They don't take reservations, but we got a table after a 20 minute wait. It was a little cramped. We were jostled every time someone wanted to go to the toilets. Having had plenty of time to study the chalked... More
