We visited Gios in August 2014. It is situated in the picturesque village of Loggos, where one may find the best taverns in Paxos island. We went there early in the afternoon, so no reservation was required. The service was a bit slow and the menu is rather limited to traditional greek tastes, however all the ingredients where fresh and... More

We love Loggos and look forward to our 9th year there in 2015. Service at O Gios is lovely and as attentive as you can be when busy! So looking forward to seeing the girls again. And next years kittens! Roxi Bar after that for a nightcap and to check out Roxi 3 for tomorrow again. Round the Island weather... More

We weren't that hungry so just had some olives and bread to start, then we both choose the Sea Bream for main course which was very good. Service was slow and wasn't as friendly as what we had become used to in Paxos. We didn't bother eating here again as there was better food to be had in Loggos, that... More

Lovely harbour-side restaurant in Loggos. Waited for some time after arrival and then eventually had to attract the waiters attention to get a menu. It then seemed to be a competition to try to avoid the customers eye and not give service. Had to eventually try to attract his attention again to place our order after waiting for some time.... Nicely sited restaurant. We had lunch here on a day threatening rain, could still sit outside as the restaurant as good rain covers. Very friendly waiter. For mains we had lamb baked in the oven (lamb shank) and prawn saganaki. The prawns weren't served with any accompaniment but there was plenty of bread to mop up the sauce and I... More

This was bar far the best restaurant we ate at in Loggos. The setting is lovely, in the harbour near Roxi bar. The food was very tasty and the wine was lovely. It was very busy here but we were lucky to get a table so I would advise to prebook one. Despite being a harbour side restaurant, the meal... More

Gios was pretty and clean but busier than where we stayed at logos. Enjoyed our trip there people friendly and welcoming. Slightly more expensive than other parts of the island but worth the visit.

When you arrive in the small village of Loggós you cannot miss this tavern. I think it is the best decorated. We appreciated all dishes we tried. After visiting other taverns in Loggós, I confirm that the "achnista mydia" (mussels on the stream) are the best. Really fresh and delicious. Among other dishes we liked the aubergines with pesto sauce,... More

The food was quite nice, but good food in a restaurant is a given. Let's get down to the business of what really matters in a restaurant. I was served my water (Zagori brand, bottled at a 450m altitude in a sealed environment, using state-of-the-art simultaneous bottling and capping technology, allowing the bottle to be made just 3 seconds before...
