We went to this restaurant on our first visit to samos six years ago and loved it. Went again on a recent trip and its still the same. Really good Greek food in a gorgeous setting and good value too. Definitely worth a visit!

Always a good meal to be had with friendly service. The menu is relatively small but they never fail to have ALL of their dishes available. Be sure to get there early/late in high season - this is quite rightly a popular venue. Don't dash off before your cake at the end!

Food is very good, just the normal stuff. Friendly. Worth the money. You get to know all the latest about the locals as you sit right in the middle of the village. Fun and interesting.

First impression: pleasantly full with people sitting at natural wooden tables and chairs in the shade of the old (plane?) tree. Nevertheless we were offered a table within 5 mins. and enjoyed our first meal on this visit with very good, more traditional Greek home cooking. Friendly and efficient staff.

On the main street opposite the church. Quite small and friendly. Food was really good. However the only thing that stops me giving it a 5 star rating was that we had not finished our starters when the main meal came out.

What can I say we went here nearly every evening before getting ready to go out. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We ate here two nights also and the meat balls are out of this world!

Easily the most authentic Greek restaurant in Kokkari. Beautiful setting under the canopy of the tree and a lovely view of the church opposite. You can watch the world go by quite happily. As for the food- it was the best we'd had so far during our holiday. Very small menu but it adds to the charm. (Who wants 4... More

If you want to taste the tradional Greek kitchen, with a large list of mezedes, plates with a small personal touch, spicy and tasty, krasi spitiko of high quality, you must visit the taverna Birra. In Kokkari you can find a large range of restaurants, but as a senior visitor of Greece (the first time the Ionian island Lefkas in... More
