We stopped here for lunch on our way to gerakas beach. Children's play area is excellent, with multiple slides, swings etc, our 3 year old loved it. We ate cheese burgers and a chicken burger with home made chips.

This friendly and bustling family run taverna is a gem. Expect family cooked, typical greek food, nothing fancy but very tasty. The moussaka, chicken and potatoes and steaks are all great. We ate here maybe 7 times over two weeks and were happy each time and more than full. There is a playground for children up to maybe 7 years... More

A basic tavern. The restaurant is within easy walking distance of Gerakas beach. The setting is nice but the food is somewhere between "average"(good) and "very good". One day my pork souvlaki was a tad on the dry side, but another day the octopus stew with tomatoes on rice was very good (for a tavern). The moussaka was ok (medium... More

We ate here a few times, and food was good at all occasions. This is a family run restaurant, with very friendly personnel. We tried several Greek dishes, which were served with pride, especially when we showed interest in the ingredients. They serve a great home made red wine, which needs to be served chilled, very pleasant. I think the... More

Just by the road near the parking area for Gerakas Beach. We had a couple of snack/meals here and the food was good. There was quite a big menu available, nothing too fancy – the usual Greek dishes and grilled meats. It was nice here in the early evening as it is in a sunny location. Even though it was... More

Nice place but bad food for all four of us. Ordered beef steak for the kids, one medium cooked and one well done, both came in cooked more than well done. Soggy, greasy french fries, over cooked chicken and gyros. Not a place I can recommend unfortunately.

Great play area for the kids and a warm and charming reception from Nikos and Cleopatra and their family who run this traditional taverna. Solid home cooking, nothing fancy, but all tasty, ate here around eight times and it was consistently good. Recommend the cheese pies with a simple salad, souvlaki, moussaka. I think this is what you expect to... More

Our family light lunch was not a good experience, they failed to cook an omelette (burnt and swimming in oil), and the burger was hidden in the bun somewhere, and the olives in the Greek salad were not fresh enough so we paid and got the hell out out of dodge. Enough said.

Handy for the Vasilikos Beach Hotel, we visited this taverna many times. Good Greek food, especially the souvlakia. There's also a live Greek singer and musicians once a week. Worth a visit.
