I am a vegetarian, and so I had a mushroom omelette, and it was wonderful. The sangria was good, too (I had to go diluted, so I wouldn't get polluted...since I had no designated driver)...but I have to say...I am TOTALLY addicted to the olives. Totally. I am usually only good for two or three olives, at best...but I could... More

Went in not knowing anything about it. So glad we did. We both had garlic prawns to start. They put olives, bread and pate on your table as well. I had Turbot, don't usually go for fish as it doesn't fill me, it was delicious. Husband had fillet steak, wow, had to pinch a piece. Came on a piece of... More

Atlantico was the second restaurant we tried in guia. We were very impressed with the service and the price so visited again a few nights later. We ordered chicken curry and Piri piri chicken and found the portion to be massive and very nice.

Family of 4 plus a baby. Arrived about 19:00hrs to find the restaurant empty. This quickly changed and every table was soon occupied. Ordered soups for starters, and piri-piri chicken breast for main, accompanied by a lovely salad and plenty of fries. Deserts were also different from all other restaurants tried so far, in the way that they offered more... More

Ordered starters and waited and waited finally the main course arrived to be told the chef did not have any melon for the starter so here is your main course !! No offer or communication at any time for alternative . Spoke to some friends in Barbados who said the same thing happened to them. Chose swordfish a bad choice... More

Three of us went here whilst on a recent holiday and as we all really enjoyed it went back again on our last evening. The food was excellent. The first evening we had salmon (which was delicious), sea bass and lamb chops, all were very good. On the second visit two of us had grilled sole and the other salmon... More

On arriving in Guia we decided upon this restaurant and although we did not have a reservation they accommodated us without a problem . The food was excellent and plentiful, we were served the biggest Chateaubriand i have ever seen and it was sensibly priced.

We were a party of eight with 2 under 10's with us. We ordered chicken piri piri, lamb, chicken escalopes, fish cataplana for two, sea bass, burger and chips and spaghetti bolognaise for the kids... The food was average at best, the cataplana was bland, the lamb was plain, the escalopes were ok, the spaghetti bolognaise wasn't good and rejected.... More

We reviewed recently and felt we needed to comment again. We visited the restaurant again this evening and were immediately recognised from the previous time. On our last visit we smelt the curry and it was too enticing to over look it this evening. What a lovely meal, very tasty without being over powering. Previously I commented about lack of... More
