Piri piri frango

Came here for the recommended chicken, when it came we thought the plate of chicken was one portion! The pieces were so tiny and meat free, although super delicious and tasty we had to have bread, butter,pate..all the salad and all the chips plus 2 desserts to get full. We have dined here for over ten years. It has always been our favourite piri restaurant in an area where piripiri is renowned this is the best by far.

A no nonsense restaurant that serves what it says at the door. Top class piri-piri chicken. The refurbishment has made it a much more attractive restaurant. Service and food is as good as ever. They claim to be the best in the area and I would not disagree.

We have eaten here many times in the past few years, since before the refurbishment and after. I was not a huge fan of the old Viera because of its old dark and worn out decor. However, the food was good! The place has had a full makeover now and is spotless, bright and airy. The staff are pleasant and... More

I've been with the family many times before because the Piri Piri is fab. First time I've been back since the refurb which is a definite improvement. The cheese that comes as the traditional "starter" is gorgeous. Well worth a visit but, as I say, don't expect a fancy restaurant, just good food, good service and a friendly welcome.

My friends told me about this restaurant. Chicken is the speciality. It tastes good, like the service. I would come here again with the family.

As we kept ignoring the gimmick of the chicken outside every evening we thought we'd call in for lunch instead. Full of locals which was a good sign and plenty of staff buzzing around. No kids options and really you just go for chicken and chips which is no better than others we tried and didnt stand out. Yet again... More

Staff were friendly, service was good and so was the food. Between the 4 of us we has piri-piri chicken, mixed meat kebab and Argentinian steaks. All of our food was tasty and with ample port8ons. The house white wine by the glass is delicious. We enjoyed this restaurant and I'd go back again.
