I think his name is Jannes (John). He was a friendly smiley chap. Most importantly the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The views are also stunning as you are on the hill. You will need to drive or get a taxi.

This place had been on our "To do" list for the last 2 years. On our September visit to Skiathos we were staying in town so it was easy to jump in a taxi (€5) & we were not disappointed. We arrived by 7:30pm, early for us but you need to be there before sunset to enjoy the view. Perfect.... More

A 5 euro trip by taxi from Skiathos town is worth it. The greeting you receive is the start of a great evening. The view is superb and the food is even greater. Good wine list and Yannis and his brother Kostas are truly great hosts. We went three times during our stay on Skiathos that in itself says something

Only open in the evenings you will need a car (or very strong legs) to visit this lovely restaurant. Perched on a hill overlooking the hills and the sea, the restaurant serves traditional greek food and quite a few modern versions as well. Excellent service, a comprehensive wine list and more than reasonable prices compared to the quayside. Well worth... More

Stayed in May 2014 for 10 nights - my 8th time on Skiathos. Discovered this as as friends invited us to her birthday celebration. Will definitely be going again - despite all our previous visits and returning to our old favourite restaurants, this was the best meal we had the whole time. Also had good views as it's quite high... More

This really is a must do if visiting Skiathos town. From the genuinely warm welcome from the multilingual manager to the very good food (do yourself a favour and order the stuffed cabbage leaves) to the spectacular view - this is a very good taverna. If you're lucky you'll be offered some of their very special tsiporou too!

This wonderful place never fails to disappoint. Views are spectacular, service is charming and attentive and the food is fantastic. Slow roast lamb is a must as is the prawn giouvetsi! The staff (owners?) speak many languages and they really know their wines - they never fail to recommend something delicious! Its also really well priced. Go!
