Looking shabby but food is fair!

We had a farewell dinner for 20 kitesurfers there and the event went smooth and everyone enjoyed the food served. You can be surprised with the WC location but it turnes out to be OK after few glasses.

It is very typical and simple restaurant near the fish market on the beach. You are sure that the fishes is always fresh. It is possible eat only fish and drink Tusker Beer or soft drinks. There is always an happy atmosphere. Of course the restaurant is unformally but confortable. The tables and chairs are in the sand without roof... More

Charcoal grilled, fresh prawn, lobster, crab and calamari - calamari also fried. Very local, very good value, and delicious. Tusker, and red/white S African wine. Friendly helpful staff. Pretty clean and hygienic preparation, though the toilets really bad: be prepared.

Wish I found it earlier - had the seafood platter, lobster - calamari - and prawns - too much food for 1 person! I was truly a happy camper, and all for 2,000/ksh. Only complaint was the competing restaurant's crappy and loud music choices with plentiful expletives ruining the lovely view and otherwise serene environment. Service was amazing - have... More

Good simple grilled food with friendly service, they were out of some of the food but gave us the phone number to call back when we planned on coming again. Make sure your not in a hurry long wait, but we didn't mind great ocean view!!

Heard a lot of good things about this place but I wouldn't come back or recommend it. Table was booked for 2pm, we arrived at 2.15pm and ordered promptly, we didn't see our food until 4.15pm! Lobster was tiny, octopus was tough and prawns were over cooked. Snapper and potatoes were delicious though!

The freshest catch of the day, local seafood restaurant in a very atmospheric Fishermans village. Had wonderfully fresh (reasonably cheap) Lobster, Crab, calamari, simply cooked - Enormous portions! Limited drink choice, with a few beers, wine and soft drinks. The local beach boys will try to sell you things.... Worth having Madafu (young coconut) at ksh 50/100 Be prepared to... More
