Casual atmosphere. There is a choice of sitting areas. We had our dinner under the stars by the ocean. As a vegan i was not sure whether it is the right place for me but ... What a surprise - the quinoa salad, suggested by the chef, was delicious and more than enough for me to keep company to a... More

We have stayed at the hotel for three days and we have had our meals in the restaurant.Food is really good. There was no need of going elsewhere.Service is excellent for a beach restaurant.

I popped into Blue Marlin by accident... The cocktails were disappointing and so was the look of the menu... However remembering this had good reviews on TA we decided to try a starter and wow, it was delicious! Highly recommend the fish pie. Would have stayed for mains but we were booked elsewhere. Next time for sure!

Good location. Poor service. Pathetic atmosphere, at least try! Sitting under ugly exposed corrugated steel sheet roofing with unpainted cement plaster everywhere kills the dining experience. Food surprisingly good!! If everything was brought to the same standard as the food this could be a real gem.

We often have a meal here whenever we come down to Diani. It has never disappointed us. The pepper steak has always been excellent. The prawns are cooked excellently. This was complimented by very good and attentive service. We have recommended this restaurant to many of our friends. It is right on the beach with fantastic views. You must try... More

This quite honestly was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a really long time, a true disaster from beginning to end. The restaurant served me what was arguably the single worst seafood platter I’ve had in over 5 years of travelling along the coast of Kenya/Tanzania/Mozambique. Mushy, soggy, overcooked. Half of it was literally inedible. My friend's catch... More

Just recalling visiting Blue Marlin with My Germans & Portuguese friends, having breakfast. Everyone of us liked the environment & esp. the superb service from charming staffs. The Manager too is very kind; we felt great the way he welcomed us ay the entrance....No Words...Simply....IT WAS AWESOME....!!! Will go back. Being a sea food lover I would say that Blue Marlin is the best place on the south coast to experience the richness of the Indian Ocean. You can start the day with the Fisherman soup, move on to the all time favorite Grilled Jumbo Prawns and call it a day over Lobster Termidor. The best part is the cost... More

In all of Diani, its the best I have come across. Everything is five star in this place, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, the swimming. Serene environment and has one of the best views ever, day or night. if you plan to go to Diani and have the perfect pristine view of the Indian Ocean, think not because this is the... More
