When in Nissaki ...

Mitsos Taverna and Agatha, its wonderful, friendly owner, are a must-do if you're in or around Nissaki. We visited off season, but Agatha was still keen to suggest in-season options to us - her recommendation of lamb was a great choice. Lovely spot to watch the sun go down by the seaside, and... read more

Beautiful location but there are lots of better restaurants in the area also with good views. Food was average and the atmosphere was a bit flat. Try it but I doubt you'll go back!

I have been here many times over the years. The beers are cold and the fried calamari is one of the best on the island. Its nice if you can get a table near the sea but if you are just in for a drink they won't let you sit there anymore.

We ate here once of an evening, as well as a couple of times for lunch, and snacks and drinks. I had the Sofrito which was very nice, as was the Lemon Pie. The souzoukakia also came highly recommended by my companions.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The souvlaki was the best I've had so far and my partner and friend both had the homemade burgers, which they both agreed were delicious. Happily have lunch here again and again.

Lovely edge of the sea but very average for food and service Slightly brusque and offhand try asking whether you can pay by credit card? Pizza good topping but base tasted very dry and biscuity as if prevailed Stifado slightly tough and some bones inexcusable really Other places here so much better

We quite liked sitting here looking out to the sea, mainly had lunches rather than dinner and really enjoyed it. Felt strange as the restaurant was actually about the same size as the little beach next to it which was packed!! Good food though.

It wasn't great but by the same token it wasn't bad. On the night we went it was very busy and the staff seem to lose it from time to time. Yes the location is very nice looking out on the sea, but went you look down on the table and see food which is not all that good you... More

You are coming here for the beautiful setting really so it has to be done at least once. The food was okay. The setting fantastic, The service good. Maybe the chef had an off day.

It is worth leaving the main road and trying this taverna right on the beach. They are welcoming for drinks and food with different areas for each. The menu is typical of the area, all food was well cooked and tasty, very good mousaka. Service was excellent and friendly. We ate both at lunchtime and dinner. There was a children's... More
